If you have to
If you must...then eat it.
Otherwise try other option when you need a snack. They are sized large - but taste unappealing.
It has that "good for you - but not tasty taste"
They are more expensive than their competitors and are not likely to get you wanting to buy another.
A whole lot of sugar
If you are a high-performance athlete or someone prone to hypo-glycemia, then maybe this is for you. I find these packed with too much sugar and fat to the point that it is a glorified candy bar, with or without any chocolate. I can't recommend this as a healthy food or nutritional snack (any nutritional value is offset by the aforementioned high sugar and fat). Even if considering as a snack, I just didn't find them to be particularly good tasting.
I have heard great things about Clif bars and I was excited to try but I have to admit I was a bit disappointed. While the flavour sounds appetizing it has the standard energy bar taste that always seems a bit off. As someone who is very active I was a little disappointed in the amount of protein included as well. I managed to purchase these on sale and at that price I would have to say it's a great value to help get me through my day. I would be interested in trying another flavour to see if the taste experience is different.
I love packing a Clif Bar in my bag for the days I just KNOW I won't be able to sit down and eat lunch because I'm so busy. Transportable, variety of flavours, but a bit pricey.
Was not really impressed with this product. My hubby too didn't like it. Won't be buying them again in the future.
They're a tasty way to get protein, mostly because of the sugar in them but in a pinch they work. Added bonus, they are a treat with extra protein in them, so I find them a nice cheat.
Okay so I just tried a Clif Bar for the first time after years of being completely skeptical. The ingredients list is promising; there are too many instances of chocolate though, and alot of sugar. Far too much sugar, at 23g for a "healthy energy bar".
The taste of this one was good, and the texture as well, were both reminiscent of an EatMore bar, which is my favourite chocolate bar. So that was a major plus for me.
I also liked the bits of crunch, although those ingredients are questionable (apple pomace? They must also think this is a strange term as on their website they list "apple fiber" instead!) Pomace, by the way, is leftover bits from making juice, so in the case of apples it means Seeds, Skin, Core, Stems. Would any of you Nomrally include this in your baking? ...

OOPS I don't recommend it. I should have put Fugghedaboutit or whatever
These are either a hit or a miss. I like some of the chocolate flavours. But they are too pricey and not cheap for me to keep buying .
I've tried these in several different flavors trying to give them a chance. I just don't like the taste of any of them, it wasn't like a bar should taste that's good for you. They don't come cheap and are so small.
