Perfect bit of energy

I really enjoy these bars. I am not typically a breakfast person, so I eat one of these with my cup of tea and it is perfect. Has some fat, carbs, protein, and fiber to give some energy when you need it. Also good as a snack.
The nut butter filling is perfect and works well with the chewy outside. I love that it is dairy free and doesn't contain large amounts of soy.
They are a bit pricey compared to regular granola bars, but definitely worth it!

Not Nut Butter For me, Please!

I was quite disappointed with these Cliff Bars since I've tried many other types and have been very pleased with the taste and texture. These bars didn't satisfy my taste buds and were frankly VERY dry.
Perhaps with milk..? Dipped, and then dipped again.

Loved it!

I received this as a freebie for testing purposes, and it's been one of the best ones so far, I really enjoyed my Clif Bar. The texture is nice and soft, the chocolate and hazelnut butter flavors were on point on the palate!! I had it while on a quick break at work to boost my energy and it did me really well!!

Not the Greatest Protein Bar

I eat a lot of Clif bars but I am very picky as to which ones I will eat. With this particular brand, I find they can be a hit and miss as to tasting good or just tasting like thick oatmeal and protein powder. While not tasting horrible, this was not one of my favourites. It had that protein taste to it and just felt like they tried to mask that by adding a lot of sugar along with it. Was not a huge fan at all.

Smooth chocolate center

I'm not a big energy bar person but I Clif bar works. I ate half and I immediately felt more energized. I love the hazelnut chocolate butter in the center but the other part of the bar itself has a powdery aftertaste. I didn't like that. Maybe also 'cause I'm calorie conscious, I don't think 230 calories is worth it if it doesn't control my hunger till my next meal.

Suggest Trying Other Filled CLIF Flavours Before This One

I've tried all the CLIF Nut Filled Bar flavours available in Canada and this is the one I like the least. I found this to be the case with most people in my family who have tried these CLIF bars.

This bar has a thick vanilla oatmeal exterior with a mild maple flavour. The exterior flavour was pretty good and I enjoyed it. When I first took the bar out of the microwave after heating it for 20 seconds, I could smell a lovely light maple aroma coming from the bar. The interior is a chocolate hazelnut butter. I found the filling to be too sweet and chocolatey. I could hardly taste the hazelnut at all and did not find there was an even chocolate to hazelnut ratio. To me, the chocolate also did not taste to be of high quality, as I am usually a fan of anything chocolatey. While this bar was not gross, I will be sticking to the other flavors.
