A nice treat once in a while
I received a sample of Clif and was excited by the fact that it was granola and chocolate chips in the same bar! These bars really do taste good for a granola bar. I know the price is high in stores but the main concern was when I found out that one bar contains 21 grams of sugar. Every once in a while I’d say that’s a nice treat, but I wouldn’t be interested in eating these all the time.
A nice crunchy granola bar.
Clif Crunch Granola Bars in Chocolate chip taste simple and would be even more so if it weren't for the chocolate chips. They are a good source of fibre containing oats, barley and rye. Onre box contains five pouches containing two bars per package. The bars are crunchy and crumbly so expect a little bit if a mess. I bought them on sale for 2.99$ at pharmaprix and although I might considering buying them again I definitely wouldn't purchase them at full price. This is just because my preference is a chewier granola bar.
Perfectly Crispy and Crunchy With Subtle Chocolate Sweetness
I bought a box of these for $3.99 from Shoppers, on sale. Each box contains 10 bars, for a total of five packages with two each inside. Each serving of two bars is 190 calories. The bars contain dietary fibre, insoluble fibre, protein, and iron. The bars are crispy and crunchy. They can be a bit messy, so it's best to eat them over a plate or napkin. The rolled oats give a nice wholesome texture and taste. There are melty chocolate chips throughout the bar which provide a nice chocolatey sweetness. There is dried organic cane sugar in the bar which adds a level of sweetness, which reminds me of the sweetness profile in a chocolate chip cookie. I like to stock up when I find these on sale as they can be quite expensive. They are delicious and I like to eat them as part of breakfast or lunch.
