Not too effective

I bought this product from Hudson Bay. This is not a miracle product. This does not help in clearing acne and alsi keaves acne marks. For cystic acne...it does nothing. I am not buying this again.

This was such a waste of money. As someone who has struggled with acne for a long time, I was looking forward to finding my "fix" as they lady at the store swore up and down that this was the holy grail. It broke me out originally but I suffered through what I thought was just the "purge stage"... it never went away. My face was dry, itchy, red and still full of pimples. This was the starter pack and it cost an arm and a leg. I would not recommend this to anyone suffering from acne. The whole Clinique line is disastrous for that type of skin.

Just to set the record straight, I have terrible acne. I have tried so many products, and luckily I found some help in the proactive system. Normally I stand behind all Clinique products, however, this did nothing for my skin. I found my skin was more red and i even noticed I had more acne coming. I found my skin was dry and flakey and I just wanted to cover myself with a bag! Also, I purchased the spot treatment in hope that maybe it would help with some of the larger, more red pimples. However, they just ended up being tight and irritated. So please, dont spend the money on this product!

This product is awful. It did not work on my skin at all, it just dried it out horribly and made it itchy. It didn't get rid of my acne nor did it prevent it. I had high hopes for this product and was very disappointed. The bottles are small and the contents run out fast. I used this everyday, two times a day and didn't see any results. I don't recommend this product to anyone with moderate acne.

I have been using classic 3 step for combination skin in summer. It was great. It cleaned up all my acnes and made my skin feel really perfect.
When it was finish I started using other brands as there was no Clinique store in my home city. When I moved to Mauritius I decided to but this Acne system. I gave abut 75 euros for 4 products in Dubai duty free - including that small acne spot product. Hmm.. it doesn't work. I am very dissapointed in this line.

I wish I have bought the classic 3step instead of wasting so much money on this.

My recommendations: If you have problems with your skin than clinique classic 3 step system is great! you just need to choose the right skin type for you. My sister has always got problems with acne, but after she tryed that for oily skin type she byes it everytime she flies somewhere.

I bought the whole three step system and it did absolutely nothing for me. If anything it made me face break out more. But I stuck with it for the 4 weeks that they told me to and ended up returning it. It was a waste of my time and money. I should have just seen my dermatologist instead.
