Favourite BB Cream!

Clinique scored with introducing this product. It is light, creates a great matte canvas of coverage. I have acne prone combo skin with acne scars. Redness is covered, pimples and scars are subdued, and the SPF is perfect! Initially, I thought that the colour was too dark for my skin tone (I use the Light), however with appropriate blending, it melted into my skin with no problem. I use this daily instead of foundation. It has become a staple in makeup bag.

Essential for daily skin health

The acne solutions BB cream broad-spectrum SPF 40 is essential for my daily skin care routine. After years of fairly good skin I discovered that I started to have dark spots on my four head. Even though for about 10 years I haven't been in the sun during the summer, this skin damage goes back to when I was a teenager. I quickly purchased this product in the color light, and then realized I needed to return it for light medium. It needs to be shaken vigorously before each use. When it comes out it is water weight consistency. The best method is to gab a few blobs all over the face and then blend in like a real foundation. You can use a beauty blender or or my new personal favorite would be the Clarisonic foundation brush head. This gives me a fairly airbrush to look. It blends fairly well, but you may need to add a few more dabs two missing spots. The consistency takes a little bit of practice. The tendency would be to add more product because of the fine nature of the liquid, however, this product is extremely buildable in terms of coverage and covers Way more than just a BB cream. My only complaint is this bottle seems to be being used to quickly. Which means the value is a necessarily there. The size is only 1 ounce which is about 30 mL. Therefore the product seems to be used quickly and I will have to re-purchase shortly. That being said it doesn't clog my pores or break me out so I will be re-purchasing this. Clinique’s Acne Solutions BB Cream SPF 40 isn’t a cream, but rather a very fluid and lightweight formula. It’s almost a good one, too, but a few qualities hold it back—the most pressing is its high amount of alcohol and its less-than-natural-looking finish.
