Great at Clearing Skin, Bad at Moisturizing

I have been using the whole Clinique Acne System on and off for a few years now. The clarifying lotion works well to clear up my skin and keep it from getting overly oily, but it can be very strong and dry out the skin so I try and not use it everyday. I also have to use a separate moisturizer as without it my skin can feel really dry and almost burn a little. I'd definitely recommend it for clearing skin as long as it is used sparingly and with a good moisturizer.

I struggle with acne/ combination skin. I deliberately went with clinique because the reviews said it wasn't over drying. Negative!!!! It works but you CAN NOT use this every day. Not unless you like the "crusty, flakey skin look". I would recommend going with something with more moisture in it. It's counter productive to over dry your skin, it will just make your face make more oil.

Also the bottle is SOOOO tiny. Especially for the price!!
