I got a sample of this product from purchasing some products from the Clinique website. This eye cream is thick and rich. It dries fast though for how thick it is. After a few weeks of using it, I have noticed the dark spot in the outer corner of my eye is starting to get lighter.
I have had changes in my diet too so I'm not sure if it really helped with the puffiness around my eyes. my major concern was my dark spot and I'm happy it worked for me.
Had a nice smoothing texture upon application, almost like a silicon-type slip that you might get from face primers. This helped a little go a long way and reduce tugging. Mainly bought this as I had been experiencing some flaking around my eyelid which this helped solve. I didn't find it to reduce the puffiness or darkness of my eyes as marketed though. Huge con is the packaging. It comes in a pot so I had to dip my fingers in each use. This type of packaging means ingredients won't stay stable as well. I find my Cerave eye cream a better bang for my buck with superior packaging.
I just recently purchased this eye cream in hopes it will reduce my under eye dark circles. I will definetely be updating my review down the line, once I have used this cream for about a month. However, I will talk about my initial thoughts.
This cream is rich, without being oily. It leaves under the eyes feeling nice and velvety smooth. I do notice a little change in the colour of under my eyes when I first apply the cream, but I do believe that has to do with the colour itself as the cream is a light pinky orange colour. I do not have puffy eyes, so I would not be able to speak about that factor.
So far so good.
I have been using this product for months now and I will say it isn't my favourite. I have super dark circles and although it did a nice job of slightly helping them, I have used creams in the past that are much better. I will say I suffer from very very dark circles. It is not only genetics, but as well as sinus and allergies that make them darker.
Very nice, light cream for the delicate area around the eyes. Absorbs fairly quickly. Lovely texture. ~$40 but you can buy it at Shoppers and use your optimum points if you have a lot! They also have a heavier version for winter time or if you have more serious eye cream needs.
I really like the consistency of this eye cream, it feels like the perfect mix between a gel and a lotion and is very cooling. I didn't notice any different with reducing under eye darkness but I think it did a great job with hydrating the area. Unfortunately I just don't think I can justify the price for how much you get...
I love this eye cream. I've used drug store purchased brands before and even other brands from like Sephora, and they've caused my eyes to react negatively and turn really red. This stuff doesn't do that and keeps my eyes looking awake! I'll probably have to change to a more anti-aging eye cream soon, but for right now this cream is perfect (although pricey).
This is a nice moisturizing eye cream to use if you don't have any wrinkle or dark circle concerns as all it really does is moisturize. It helps your concealer glide on and not cake up so it works well under makeup. If you are young and are looking for a nice eye cream to try this is a good choice.
I have super sensative and insanely dry eyelids. I use this at night and in the morning under my eye makeup. It has no irritating fragrance and absorbs quickly. I tried 6 different eye creams that are safe for lids and this was the only one that did not leave me in tears during the day.
This is really nice gel-like eye cream. My skin around the eyes is not very dry, so this moisturizes enough. It also works perfectly under make up.
