In my late teens, early twenties, I had really back breakouts on my face. Bad skin really took a toll on my confidence. This toner along with the acne face wash worked so well for me. Helped me clear up my acne. It wasn't a miracle worker where everything cleared up over night, but it definitely worked for me! I recommended both the foam cleanser and the toner to my younger sister who suffered the same skin flaws, but unfortunately, it wasn't as effective on her as it was on me.

As a woman who's suffered with some pretty bad acne breakouts since my teens, & is now rapidly approaching 40, I had tried pretty much everything.
Nothing has calmed my skin down like this. Having been using it for over a year now, I can unequivocally say... This is an absolute miracle worker. My skin is no longer producing excess oil as soon as I've cleansed, & my breakouts have really cleared up. Using the whole range helps, but this clarifying lotion, is a majorly important step. Would (& do) recommend this til the cows come home.

Great toner

I’ve been using this toner for a year now and it has really helped clear up my skin, it’s very gentle but cleanses the skin well after makeup removal, the only thing I don’t like is the smell, it’s a bit alcoholic but it goes away quickly.

Purchased this as it was recommended by a Clinique rep when I was suffering from a particularly bad breakout. Unfortunately it was way too strong for my dry and sensitive skin. It burned when applying and for quite a while after, it continued to sting. It ended up drying my skin out even further worsening my breakout. This is definitely for someone without sensitive skin and those with oily skin.

After giving up on toners, I decided to give this one a try. Even though it classified for dry skin, it is works well for my combination/oily skin without irritation. Since using it, my skin is brighter and smoother.

I have gone back and forth to this product for years depending on what my skin requires at different times of the year. I find this lotion is different from other toners because it leaves your skin feeling clean and clear without leaving it tight like the harsher toners do. I would recommend this if you have dry skin or are suffering from seasonal bouts of dry skin.

I suffer from comedonal acne-that's the non-inflamed sort; bumpy, rough looking skin-that can't be manually exfoliated away, it makes it inflamed and much worse to manage. Most toners with actives such as salicylic acid contain SD alcohol, which is a no-go for me.
This toner is really a lotion. I use it once to twice a day. It helps a lot with my skin bumps :) I'm 37 and I have sensitive, reactive dry/combo skin. I also have SLE.

A lovely product that is used for dry to very dry skin. Gentle, non-irritating, leaves skin refreshed. I didn't get that tight, dry feeling that i do with some toners, which is wonderful. I started using this in my teens, and the price point is great for that age group.
