I got a sample of one of these from the Clinique bonus, and it's a great product! It lasts forever, goes on easily, and I don't have to constantly reapply. Plus, I use very little of it, so it doesn't smudge and the stick will likely last me all year.
I took a chance at the Chubby Stick, as I heard good things from my co-worker. The shade I picked is 01 Curviest Caramel- which is a nude pink. It's hydrating, rich, and the variety of shades is perfect for any mood. It goes on smoothly and is long-lasting.
This is an awesome lip balm! It's super cute and really high quality. I have it in Chunky Cherry, which is nice and vibrant without being too over the top. It's very pigmented and gives a nice even colour that doesn't run. I also love how moisturizing it is. It's the best of a lipstick and a balm combined, and it's easy to apply on the go.
I tried it in heaping hazelnuts and am simply in love i can't live without it it bought it at bay for 19 bucks simply love love mwah
I like the design of a big crayon to draw on your lip color. I also find the packaging of the Clinique version to look much more polished than the knockoffs. Because this color was quite pigmented I found it was less balm like than the other colors. Therefore I found it was not as moisturizing as I would have liked. It is definitely not drying, I guess I just expect a lot of hydration when something claims to moisturize.
The color is pigmented :) you can see it & is lasts long. The colors are a nice variety for spring & summer,
I was looking for a lip colour that wouldnt dry out my lips...ive had the chubby stick for about a week and im really impressed with it so far! Its not sticky at all, which is also a bonus
I received a set of Chubby Sticks for Christmas (purchased from Shoppers Drug Mart). I hadn't heard of them before but I love trying new make-up so I was excited. I've had pencil-like lip products before but found them really drying so I wasn't sure how these would be. I was pleasantly surprised that they were really moisturizing. They are not sticky at all, which is a problem I have with other glosses from Clinique.
This stuff is pretty good, a tad expensive for what it is however I really like the slight pigmentation and moisturization that this product offers. I have it in the colour: Super Strawberry, and I love the soft peck of colour that it adds.
You get quite a bit of product and the cute pencil/crayon like packaging is really adorable and is much better than a sqeeze tube as you will definitely get almost all of the product.
I like the feel of it on my lips and it's overrall a nice product, will most likely repurchace.
I haven't been to a Clinique counter since they introduced Happy perfume to the world....and after they started cloning it to the extreme (Happy Heart, etc), I stopped going to the counter. I feel like they need some major rebranding and for pete's sake could they please introduce something 'new'?
I have been reading a lot about Chubby sticks on beauty blogs and decided to stop by and see what all the hype was about.
Chubby sticks are cute-crayon like lip balms with color. They glide on nice and easy and deliver sheer color. I do like them, the colors I got were 06-Super Strawberry, and 07-Woppin' Watermelon. I like them both and they are currently living in my purse and have earned the title of "work day lip color."
I may go back and purchase one more chubby stick-this is the right time for sheer washes of color! However I am not in love with them so once they're gone, they're gone (for me).
