I love, love, love this foundation. I've tried all the drugstore foundations out there, and they really didn't meet a great standard. So this was my first real 'high-end' foundation. Firstly I did my homework by reading plenty of reviews about it before deciding to buy it (initially it was around £22 in the UK, but I bought it for £18 in the January sales, now it's around £19). Now, I really cannot wait until I get home after I buy any foundation. I put it on over my current base of foundation - and instantly I noticed how smooth it made my face feel. It has a slight scent to it, I can't really describe it, but I don't think I could degrade it for that reason, because it doesn't smell once you have applied it. I think the application goes on incredibly well with the fingers, it's probably actually necessary to use your fingers even with using a sponge or brush, because once you blend it in, it really lives up to the reviews about it. I apply it with a foundation brush, and pat it with a finger to allow it to blend into the skin easily. Honestly, on normal skin it doesn't look like you're wearing foundation, you just look flawless. It's fantastic that it provides an SPF, but living in England, I have to say I didn't really need it, but it will definitely come in handy once I move to New Zealand. The colour range is fantastic - I have pale skin and I bought the lightest possible shade, and thought it would be extremely dark, but really, it blends in amazingly well. It could be better with a shade lighter (I'm not sure what happened to shade 01). The packaging is great, and I find that when I have been carrying it around in my makeup bag all day, it leaves just enough foundation in the lid for touch-ups. It doesn't last an incredibly long time, but it really does give a great finish. As for the 'dewy look' claim, I'm not sure - it certainly made me look quite shiny; I have combination skin, but it turned quite matte under translucent powder. However when I tried it on my friend, who has normal skin and practically no visible pores, it looked fantastic. My only gripe is that it is aimed at women with dry skin. Whenever I have dry skin, this foundation tends to make dry areas look quite flaky, and well, basically dries them up more. My skin is a lot less oily than it was, because I have started taking acne medication - before I started, it really made me break out. This inclines me to suggest that you should only buy this foundation if you have normal skin - I also advise moisturising first before applying the foundation.
