Pricey, but doesn't clog pores - worth it
I have very fair skin, and I use the shade 'flax'. This foundation is non-comedogenic, and I've never had any breakouts from using it. It also has a higher price than drugstore foundations at 35$ for 30mL. I've found that this foundation is effective at covering redness that I have on my cheeks - without feeling heavy on my skin. I have combination skin, so the foundation would sometimes accentuate dry patches on my face, but nothing too noticeable. The spf15 isn't really an effective amount of spf, so I would recommend using a sunscreen underneath. Overall, this foundation is a lifesaver for redness, and I love that it is non-comedogenic.
Good foundation
I do love Clinique products however this one was not good on my skin. It does go on very smoothly and I love that it has sun protection in it but by the end of the day my pores were so clogged up and I ended up breaking out. It is medium to full coverage so it’s a bit on the heavy side and for me I have oily skin so it didn’t last all day.
Waterproof
I am almost always wearing sunglasses. The problem I have with wearing sunglasses and foundation is that it always sweats on the nose piece and it smears the foundation. I have spent years trying to find a foundation that does not smear on the nose. This foundation is THE one. It is waterproof and stays all day, even on the hottest days!
Does it's job but isn't for me...
This is a tough one, I love the coverage and the bottle with the dipstick, the colour works great with my skin and I was pleased with the price ... but ... I have been breaking out like an acne prone teenager! Seriously, I haven't had this much acne for at least ten years. It's a shame but it just isn't working for me. Estée Lauder double wear gives me the same coverage and doesn't cause me to breakout - it's my regular foundation, but I wanted to see if I could find the same coverage in a less drying foundation and that's what led me to Clinique, however I'm going to have to keep looking.
Was recommend this foundation at the Clinique counter for my dry sensitive skin. I was particularly looking for a light weight foundation but was disappointed to find it to be quite heavy and cakey. Unfortunately the colour I was given was also too dark and yellow toned for my skin despite being the lightest shade they carry. It is too bad they don't have a larger range of colours/tones for this product. I did really like the flawless effect it gave my skin and always received compliments when I wore it. I think this would be well suited for medium and olive toned skin and for someone looking for a heavier coverage.
I find this product to go a long way for the amount that I use, stays on for quite a while. I have pretty sensitive skin so I love this line. I just wish it were a bit cheaper as I have to use two shades to match my skin tone.
Love this foundation. Love that it has some SPF. It has medium coverage. Doesn't break me out and my skin looks better after using it. It is a bit pricey, but it matches my skin tone so I find that worth the extra price.
I love this product. I have combination skin and I had read good reviews for it so I thought I would see what it is all about. I am used to spending about $10-$15 on foundation, but with an upcoming wedding and all these events taking place beforehand I wanted to make sure my skin looked great. I thought the $33 for this was a bit steep but I did notice it was one of the lesser expensive foundations when I looked at similar products.
It have great coverage and blends really well. I will most likely purchase again, depending on how long the bottle lasts me. It does seem like a small bottle but the clinique rep assured me it would last a few months. So far I am very pleased with my purchase
This was my first foundation that I purchased and I used to like this until I started using other brands. I purchased this again to compare to my other foundations and found this to be extremely thick yet ironically the coverage was minimal. The finish is more oily than dewy but it could just be since I have oily skin. This foundation doesn't break me out though, which is definitely good because my skin is highly reactive to foundations since I wear foundation for 7+ hours on days that I put makeup on.
I used to only wear Clinique foundation. Then the discontinued the one that I love the most (Superfit). So, I went through trying them all again after that. This one was the one I liked the most out of their current line. It dries to more of a satin finish. I wouldn't call it matte but I also wouldn't call it dewy. The staying power is good but not amazing. If you're having a stressful/slightly sweaty day, you may have to touch up with a bit of concealer on any blemishes.
