I'm pretty sure that I got this as a GWP. It sat on my vanity for awhile and a few weeks ago I decided to try it. So far I am pleased. Doesn't make my long lashes clumpy, which is a pro for me. Some mascara do not do anything for me.

I tried this mascara as a sample and used the whole thing up!

I really liked it as it didn't cause irritation, appeared to be unscented (as most of their products are) and it went on easy and creamy. I found that my eye lashes were soft all day and it didn't smudge toooooooo much.

I like the brush, but it's big so it's tricker to use if you are used to a more precise brush. That being the case I found that it didn't really separate.

The color was great.

Downside is the price for me. I enjoyed using it, but once it was empty I went back to my usual choice.

Like it, don't love it. I found it light but flakey and it dried up very fast. Not good value for money.

this mascara gives me the length i need and some volume but if i wanted more volume this wouldnt do it becuase it will just start making all my lashes clump which does not look good at all. id say if you had to choose this or a drugstore mascara definately get drugstore because this is probably 3-4 times of drugstore mascara prices

I absolutely LOVE this mascara. I used to buy cheap drugstore mascara and found that half way through the day the stuff had flaked off and smudged under my eyes, making me look tired and terrible- not good. About 6 years ago I was introduced to Clinique's High Impact Mascara and I have yet to find a better product for my lashes (and yes, I've tried others in that time, and end up giving up on them after one or two uses). My lashes are naturally long, but very fair in colour, so this mascara really makes them pop! I've even had strangers ask me what kind of mascara I wear- seriously! One girl at the hardware store commented how perfect my lashes looked, and sometimes people ask if I'm wearing fake lashes. This is one make-up essential that I am never without. I always buy it in 01 Black, but there are a few other shades available. The price seems a bit high if you're used to buying $5 drugstore mascara, but once you realize what a difference it makes, it's totally worth the extra few dollars. It's not waterproof, but I much prefer it to the waterproof mascara that Clinique makes, even living in rainy Vancouver. There's a reason this mascara often makes it into the "gift with purchase" that Clinique offers: they know it's great and will sell itself once you try it. If you want to draw attention to your eyes and make them pop, without having to wear falsies or get eyelash extensions, THIS is the mascara for you! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

What is Clinique High Impact Mascara?
This mascara from Clinique promises to both volumize and lengthen lashes and provide a pure and deep colour.

Quality of the mascara:

Appearance: This mascara does exactly what it claims to do. It separates your lashes, as well as lengthens and volumizes them with just one coat without making them appear clumpy.

Staying power: It is a long lasting mascara. For me, it lasts from 6am to 10pm without flaking or smudging underneath my eyes. It is not waterproof, so it is easy to get off at night with just a little makeup remover.

Would I repurchase it? Yes.

This mascara is incredibly average for a high end mascara, for almost triple the price it isn't any better than L'Oreal's Voluminous.
It has a regular fibre shaped brush, nothing special, it lengthens alright, gives some volume, and literally no seperation.
It's definitely not worth the price and I'd definitely reccommend that you go to your local drugstore and find something similiar, because it'll be alot cheaper and probably better.

This is a good mascara. Not anything super amazing, but it isn't flaky, smudgy or anything. It is a good, go-to mascara.
