I've never been impressed with Clinique mascaras before but I was surprised this one was pretty good. No it wasn't the best mascara I've ever used, but I'd use it again.
I read great reviews about this mascara on Sephora's site and have been looking for a new favorite. The colour is great but I must admit, it sure doesn't add any volume. It basically just colours the meager lashes I have. There's no pop. I need something that gives volume and this just didn't give the impact I expected. It was worth a try but not for me.
Meh. This isn't my favorite mascara - it doesn't really thicken or length my eyelashes compared to others (Sephora Brand or Fairy Drops are my favorites). It adds a touch of black but thats about it. Friends I have love it, but it doesn't do it for me.
I don't usually like buying high end mascara because it is sugggested that you throw it away after 3 months but this one is an exception. It has a nice balance of thickening and lengthening along with definition without clumping. It seems to be that mascara that is everything you want in one. If you don't mind spending the extra money, this is a good go-to one try.
I usually apply 1-2 coats of this stuff and the brush helps to coat my eyelashes evenly and prevents clumps. It does a great job elongating my eyelashes and making it look natural. However, it doesn't hold the curl that well after I had used an eyelash curler and it is a bit wet after applying so you'll have to let it dry.
LOVE this stuff. No clumping, no flaking. One of the cheapest "high-end" mascaras out there, and definitely one of my favorites. If you're like me you wear mascara everyday all day, and you probably go through it pretty quickly. This stuff is a great balance of "cheap" and "good quality". Now when I say cheap it's still $20 CAD but still cheaper than their other direct competitors.
The brush was a thicker, fuller brush, so I thought that it would lengthen and plump my lashes up. But I found the liquid wasn't thick enough. I had to put on like 3 or 4 coats to even have it look like I was wearing mascara. By that time, it just turned into a big clumy mess. I wouldn't spend the money on this again.
I have been using this mascara for years and find it goes on so nicely with only one coat needed. The nicest part is that you only need soap and water to remove it.
This is like putting the Sahara desert on your eyelashes, so dry and just flakes all over the place.
