Doesn't hold a curl but fantastic brush

I got a deluxe sample of this mascara from Sephora and was super excited to try it out. The first thing that I absolutely love about it is the brush! I'm 100% washing and keeping the brush for future use. It separates my lashes better than any brush I've ever used before. It feels really gentle on my lash line and easily moves the product from length to tip. It's a nice dense brush and feels excellent quality. The only thing I don't like about this product is that the formula makes my lashes fall (it doesn't hold my curl). That's probably just due to my lash-type, but if it did hold a curl it would be the perfect product. The formula itself is nice -- it evenly coats the lashes, no clumps, doesn't have a strong smell to it like some other mascaras I've used. Overall, it's a decent product. I won't buy it again because the formula makes my lashes fall and stick straight out. Other than that it seems like a nice formula with an excellent brush.

Does not match Cliniques quality of products

I recently purchased this mascara, and perhaps I had a bad batch, but the quality turned out to be quite disappointing and really no better than drugstore cheap quality brands.

The mascara went on rather goopy and clumpy and while I have naturally fairly long thick lashes, this product did little to enhance them sadly. The product was clumpy and thickets on some parts of application than others, and the smell was quite strong, almpst making my eyes water.

Washing it off was barely necessary after 8 hours as most had flakes off as well. I have since returned the item to the store where it was purchased and would not purchase again which is sad as I really enjoy if that Clinique cosmetics like the eye shadows and all day wear liquid foundation.

Clinique High Impact Mascara is a regular basic mascara. The brush is long, fat and hard to comb through the lashes. Although it did give me some colour and volume, it didn't provide length. On a positive note it stayed on all day and didn't smudge or flake. I find it to be a basic natural look. In addition, it was easy to remove at the end of the day.

Good mascara but nothing spectacular. For half the price, you can buy two comparable L'Oreal mascaras (like voluminous, for instance). It does a good job lengthening and separating lashes, and as other uses have mentioned, performs strongly in the non-clumping category (also does not flake!). However, I personally don't find the formula that effective as you must apply a few coats to leave a noticeable difference. If you are a big fan of Clinique, I understand being loyal to your favourite brand but for others looking for a new great mascara, I believe there are other products that are much more effective and/or cost friendly.

I got a sample of this, which was great because I love mascara. There's nothing great or memorable about it, though. It's basic, ok, and non-descript. I'm glad I didn't spend money to try it.

I started using this mascara when I was about 15 and it's a really great mascara. It washes off easily with just water and it lasts decently long without flaking. I think that they could probably improve on the brush/wand though, it just can't compete with a lot of the newer brushes that separate lashes better.

Really like this mascara for its no clumping benefits. The colour is great and it does lengthen somewhat. However I did not find any volumizing properties. The staying power of this mascara is not there. If you do not have the waterproof version of this mascara then be prepared to have it run under.

works fine and does not clump which is great!! it just seems to add a natural darker look to my lashes. not your go to for volume or length but great for getting ready for the office

I have never purchased this as I always get them with the Clinique bonuses. I have short and thin lashes and it doesn't seem to make them much fuller. I don't think I would pay full price for it though.

I read great reviews about this mascara on Sephora's site and have been looking for a new favorite. The colour is great but I must admit, it sure doesn't add any volume. It basically just colours the meager lashes I have. There's no pop. I need something that gives volume and this just didn't give the impact I expected. It was worth a try but not for me.
