I used the 3 step system as a teenager and loved it because the toner fought acne and the moisturizer was rich enough for young skin. But as I got older, I found this became less effective. There are no anti-aging components in the cream, and the toner is mostly alcohol which started to dry out my older skin. The soap is also a little harsh and left residue.

The system is absolutely amazing! I've been having acne problem for a long time and tried many different products but didn't get good result. Finally I tried Cliniqiue and in just a week, my acne was completely gone, and i only get the occasional blemish. Despite what i had heard, it doesn't dry out my skin. definitely try this out!

I used this for about 3 weeks. I had nothing wrong with my skin when I started using this product. I had been using Neutrogena deep clean cream cleanser pretty religiously before I bought these products. I just thought I'd try something new and kick up my skin care routine. Unfortunately my skin hated this product. I had the worst breakout that I've had in at least 5 years. The pamphlet that came with it did say that I may experience breakouts during the first week but to continue using it and that it would clear up. So I kept using it for about 2 more weeks and needless to say, I kept breaking out, worse than ever. I couldn't deal with the agony anymore so I quit using it. I paid about $80 at a local department store and still have more than half in each bottle. It makes me sad to think about what I could have done with $80 instead of purchasing this.

Overall, I really like the system. There is no scent and perfect for sensitive skin. I do find the moisturizer to be too heavy especially in hot weather. Another thing is that there is no SPF in the moisturizer. But overall great system!

This face wash is really good for those with sensitive skin. It is light and there is no scent. However, because it is very mild, it does not take off face makeup. The best thing to do is to wipe off your face makeup first before using the wash or else the majority of your face makeup will remain.

I've been struggling with acne for the past couple years and have tried many different products. I used Clinique for 4 months and found that it did nothing but make my acne hurt and more red and it also dried my skin out very bad.

I have naturally oily skin and get my acne in the T-zone. I would not recommend this product to anyone with my skin type.

Also, Clinique has been advertised as adding no extra scent. I think they should have as the scent of the product on my face is nauseating and burns my nostrils. It feels like rubbing isopropyl alcohol directly under my nose. It is extremely overpowering.

I NEVER want to be without this product. I have sensitive, acne-prone skin and this is absolutely perfect for it. I tried the Acne Solutions product from Clinique, and it made my skin so red and irritated. Why they have the Acne Solutions product when there's this beautiful thing is beyond me. It clears up my acne without breaking out my skin, and has a nice smooth texture. No alcohol smell! I recommend still using moisturizer after this product though! As this is a department store product, it's slightly pricey, but not bad at all compared to others and considering the effectiveness of it.

This has to be, hands down, one of the two of my favorite face cleansers/face washes. My mom has always used it, and after I was done my bottle of Cetaphil, I needed something to use. First off, I love that this soap comes in a bar form. I've gotten used to the pump bottles but I think soap in a bar form is just as good. It has a mild soapy smell, and produces a good amount of lather. The soap leaves your face feeling fresh and clean. Love it!

I received this in a free gift with purchase set and I absolutely love this facial cleaner it is so mild but makes your face feel very clean I even used it to wash off my eye makeup and it did not burn my eyes at all it did not dry my skin out at all and it actually helped my oily skin this is great for any age range from preteen to mature women I highly recommend this and I will be buying this in the full size bottle

The Clinique 3 Step System worked for me when i was in highschool going through puberty. It dramatically reduced my breakouts without leaving my skin dry. However since i currently dont have the same acne problems it leaves my skin smooth and healthy but not something i can't get from a more simple and inexpensive exfoliator. The price is definitely worth it if a simple exfoliator does not do the trick for you.
