Strips skin of moisture

This is the most drying cleanser I have ever used. The lather foams nicely and I cleans oil off but my face felt like it was deprived of liquid. I had to use moisturizer immediately because it felt so uncomfortable. I could not handle it.

I remember when my mom had bought this back a couple of years ago and I was first starting to break out. I ended up using the 3 step system. The system I had came with a bar of soap instead of the liquid pump soap. The soap, for one, dried out my face so much. I do not use bar soap to this day because of this and I don't like the idea of having wet soap sit around growing bacteria and spreading that bacteria all over my face when I "clean" it. I do not like the toner either. Putting it on stung my skin…. "if it stings you know that it is working" is what I recall being on the bottle. But now that I look back, I'm pretty sure it was full of alcohol and was drying out my skin even more; which forced me to use the moisturizer. I then was using the moisturizer. I do not like the moisturizer either. It was weighing down my skin and "looked" like it was doing something for me since the other two products had damaged my skin! I have very sensitive skin and this did not work for me. I do not recommend this to anyone with sensitive skin. It's not worth the money either.

Being an Esthetician/skin therapist, I would NOT recommend these products. The products (especially the toner) are loaded with Alcohol. Alcohol is absolutely horrible for your skin. Spill some on your linoleum floor and it will start to eat away at your floor!

Sorry my face did not like the 3 step horrible product all that alcohol is not good for anybodys skin !

I purchased cliniques 3 step skin care system and i was pissed! At first i didnt notice any big chanes, then it honestly screwed my skin up so bad i am still dealing with it about a two months later. I have a red patch on my face that occasionally gets bumpy. i never ever had a problem like this before and it started after i decided to be brave and try something different. What truly assures me that this product is the cause of my skin problem is that when i decided to start this skin regimen, my sister-in-law did as well and had the same problem, thankfully it is not as bad as my problem. I am truly dissapointed!
