Foundation Dupe
I'll admit that I'm not quite sure the difference between liquid foundation, BB, and CC creams but I started using this CC cream in place of my liquid foundation. Perhaps it's meant in addition to it which would give more coverage to hide sun spots. I found this formula was thick enough and had enough pigment that I didn't want to add too many other products on top. I finish it with a light powder, and the 2 combined make my face even and presentable with no oiliness. B/c of the saturation of it it doesn't take much product to go around the face, and needs a lot of blending... even though it doesn't cover those sun spots. Overall I feel it's basically exactly like other liquid foundations and isn't superior to any. It does have good qualities like spf and being matte, but so do most others nowadays.
Good but not great
I purchased this cc cream because of the many good reviews but honestly I think it is a bit overrated. The moisturizer is a bit too thick for my combination. It provides medium coverage.
A cc cream that evens out skin tone.
Clinique moisture surge CC cream has an SPF 30 which makes it great to wear all year round but especially in the summertime when you will be spending more time in the sun. Since I usually use tinted moisturizer I found this CC cream to be a little thicker and it took more time to blend evenly. I prefer a lighter coverage but I would say this CC cream gives a medium coverage. My skin type is normal to combination and I would think this CC cream would be better suited for someone with oilier skin since it goes on matte. I didn't even have to apply translucent powder and even at the end of the day there was still no shine. I personally prefer a more youthful, dewy look with a little bit of a glow. Although this product is great I think it would be better suited for those who are looking for more coverage and that like a matte finish.
This is an expensive CC cream (it's over $40). However, it is a really nice product. I found that it matched my skin tone pretty well...probably the best I've tried so far. It has good coverage...medium to full. It lasts a long time too. The only down side it that it rub off if I touch my hand, or anything, to it.
Not a huge color selection. Product does oxidize somewhat. Very pink undertones. Very moisturizing. Great coverage. No overpowering scent. Easy to blend.
This isn't my daily because I like more coverage, especially in the winter and spring when I'm fairly pale and all spots show. But in the summer or for skiing, or cottage days when I'm going to be outside and don't want to put on any makeup, this is the only product that I use. It covers more than other CC creams I have tried, but still has the SPF 30 that I'm looking for in a CC cream.
I love the coverage this gives me. It helps to create a smoother look and wears great under my foundation. It's perfect for the summer with the SPF protection too!
Not a bad CC cream- but goes on a little dry. Looks good once on though. Does the job!
It's a very lightweight cream and is very good for everything . A little pricey but it does so many different things
