I am hooked no this cleansing brush! I have extremely dry and sensitive skin so I was nervous to use this but with the sensitive skin brush head it is perfect! The brush is so soft and gently removes any of my flakiness. It works with any cleanser too! The battery lasts forever! The first one I purchased I had to return after six months because it became water logged somehow and would turn itself on (a frightening thing at night for sure!). The customer service rep was amazing and said it was an issue they were working on. I had replaced no questions asked and I think has since been fixed because I haven't had this issue again!
I bought a Clinique Sonic System Purifying Cleansing Brush on sale, so I got it at a good price. It works well and I have less black spots and pimples since I use it. My skin is in better shape.
This product works ok. But I found it was rough on my skin and didn't leave me feeling fully satisfied
Ok, so this was a big purchase for me. I had been looking at reviews for Clarisonic and Clinique for a while before I decided on the Clinique Sonic System. The price really pulled me in and of course, it's Clinique! Before the Sonic System I used drug store exfoliation pads that worked well and did the job, but I knew it was time for a serious investment. The Clinique Sonic System won me over, thanks to the Sales lady at The Bay Yorkdale too!
Side note: I was lucky to get the Foaming Facial Cleanser as a bonus for buying the Sonic System.
The brush itself has a great battery life, I use it twice daily and have yet to charge it after the initial charge. It's been THREE weeks!!! Amazing.
The brush head is gentle yet effective, as the white bristles are softer to the touch while the green give a little more roughness to the exfoliation process.
The brush vibrates, but you actually have to move it in a circular motion or up and down - different from the Clarisonic.
Overall, my face feels fresh and clean...and breakouts are few and far between.
I received this item as part of the Product Review Club and was so excited to try it! I had previously been using the Clarisonic brush to wash my face but grew tired of it for some reason.
I did notice right away that with the clinique brush, the whole device vibrates while with the clarisonic only the brush head vibrates which gives you a more even cleaning.
I do recommend if you are using this to remove your makeup I would still use a makeup remover and then follow up with a cleanser and this brush. It was gentle enough on my dry skin and was fun to use. I would recommend it overall. I know sephora sells this with a bonus cleanser when you buy it, which is nice.
its now my daily routineThe size is really light weight and travel-friendly, and the price is more affordable than other similar brushes. Overall, I do like it.
The Clinique Sonic brush is different from other cleansing brushes because of the unique angled bristles at the tip. The main white bristles are very soft (much softer than Clarisonic's Sensitive heads, even), and the green bristles are a little stiffer. The angle is really useful for getting into the crevices of the nose, chin, and between the eyebrows.
The downfall of this brush is that the actual bristles don't move. The handle itself vibrates which causes the bristles to vibrate. For someone with sensitive skin, this may be a good thing - it won't overstimulate your skin and irritate it. My super oily skin prefers a little more though.
