We have two sleep sheep. a small one for travelling and a full size one for at home. My son liked them but didn't love them as I had hoped he would.
When I got pregnant for my daughter I was buying every popular thing on the market, so of course I bought a sleep sheep. They got good reviews and they look absolutely adorable. I bought mine at Indigo book store for about fourty dollars and when it arrived in the mail I was ecstatic. It plays soothing sounds meant to comfort your baby including whale sounds, mother's heartbeat and a few others. There was a timer you could set for a certain amount of time, easy to push buttons and a volume control knob. There was also a handy velcro strap which was convenient if you wanted to attach it to the stroller or crib. All that sounds great but I will now tell you what I did not like about it. The sound box that you place inside the sheep could be seen from the back of the sheep as the velcro strip didn't close securely to conceal the soundbox. For some this might not be a problem but I think for the pics the fit and finish should be more complete. As for babies I know the soothing sounds might be comforting for some but it did nothing my daughter. She preferred calming music. But on the other hand I gave the sleep sheep to my cousin who had a baby soon after me and she absolutely loved it.
I love all the cloud B sleep accessories... A Cloud B sound machine is now my GO-TO gift for new moms. The sounds are really great and offer a good variety. The 22 and 45 min timers are really helpful as they last longer than the sound machine on my bassinet. I love the portable smaller one because its easier to use on the go and I have the bigger one in my daughter crib we personally could not live without are sleep sheep it was very helpful when she was a newborn.
