I wouldn't try any of these bistro bowls again

The clover leaf Mexican rice bistro bowl is suppose to be a Spanish medley of high quality ingredients that provide lots of protein while satisfying your hunger. Overall, I found the bowls to be lackluster, with the fishiness of the tuna too overpowering that you can't taste anything else in the bowl. I also found the rice to be a little undercooked in texture. I also have an issue for the size provided at that cost, when other ready-made foods at the same price contain way fresher ingredients with a larger portion size.

    Not a fan

I find these to be too expensive and lacking flavour in my opinion. I was looking forward to trying this but was disappointed in the end. Won’t be buying it again.

    Flavourful

I wasn't expecting to like this as much as I did. It's very flavourful and there are lots of chunks of tuna throughout. I may want to keep some in my cupboard for when I'm in a hurry.

    Mediocre

I recently tried the Spanish Medley version of this product and it was underwhelming due to these reasons below:

Advantages - Convenient, comes with a wooden fork, sturdy bowl that retains heat well and doesn’t burn your fingers after removing from the microwave, good portion control

Disadvantages - Oily, less tuna than expected, a little expensive, and personally flavours don’t leave a memorable statement

Definitely not one of our favourites

We were so excited to get this cloverleaf ball in the mail. But after heating it up and attempting to eat it, me and my children were so disappointed. We are very big fish eaters in our house. And I thought for sure this would make perfect lunches for my kids going further. But the taste was so bland and awful. And it left a lingering taste in mine and my sons mouth. We will definitely not be purchasing this product again. And after noticing it at the store I felt it was quite overvalued for the size of container that you get.

    Agréablement surprise!

I'm not a big fan of tuna, and neither is my bf so I didn't have much expectations for this product. Boy was I wrong! Since I've tried it, I've bought it again multiple times. My bf is obsess with it! The tuna taste is not overpowering, and it's just the perfect mix of other ingredients to make a good and filling meal.

Nice try Cloverleaf but no go!

I bought a few of these cloverleaf bistro bowls because they went on sale and I had a coupon which only made them a $1 vs $4. I bought every flavour available and recently tried the Mexican rice and Spanish rice. The positives about this product are the portion size was ok for a quick lunch at the office and the heating instructions were easy but I also like that they added a little wooden fork for those on the go. Unfortunately, this is where the positives end as I was rather disappointed with both flavours. The Spanish rice has a mix of beans, rice and tuna which I liked better of the two. The Mexican rice was spicy but the texture of the rice for both was not consistent with most quick rices you make. The rice was too oily and felt that there was added preservatives. My boyfriend had one taste and didn’t want anymore. I don’t plan to buy these again.

    This is a perfect snack

My husband loves these. We take them on road trips and pack them for lunches as well. This has become a staple in our pantry because it's easy to grab when we don't have alot of time.

    great on the go lunch

I received a small one as a sample a few months back, at first i thought it was a repulsive idea but decided to give it a try none the less. I was shocked, not only are they delicious they're quite filling. I ran to Walmart and bought a few thinking they would be quite a pretty penny considering their a healthy branch of food with a load of protein in them.
Again i was surprised it was $3.50 for a decent portion! I only bought one brand, the mexican flavour, the next time i go I will be buying one of each and definitely will be returning for more.

    Good

New clover leaf bistro bowls Mexican style meal. Made of whole grain brown rice, vegetables, beans, corns, jalapeño, and wild caught tuna flakes. It is a mixture of lots of ingredients and sauce with oils. Taste is good. Specially when i eat this bowl with my own choices fruits and veg salad. Smells good. Price is bit high than portion.
