CND creative play base coat

A nice silly base coat, first time I've used a tinted base coat and it seemed to help the colour pop.
The smell was a little strong though.
Didn't take too long to dry which was nice

Sets my nail polish up to be Long Lasting

I typically don’t do steps when I paint my nails, I just use one coat of polish. This will change the way I paint my nails! The base coat was a neutral colour and it really smoothed out my nails to prepare them for my nail lacquer. It dried super fast and I didn’t have to do more than one coat. The base was applied evenly and made the nail lacquer colour last almost a week. I will buy this again. #gotitfree

The perfect base coat

The basecoat is matte and neutral - it dried quickly and made my nails smooth. As a result, the polish went on smoothly and looked professionally done! As an added bonus, the basecoat protected my nails from becoming stained by the polish.

So easy to use

I received this free from chicken visor to try and give my review on it. I found this topcoat easy to apply and dried rather quickly. It evened out any imperfections in my nails and allowed the colour polish to go on evenly and smoothly. Only if you days in a new chips and my nails Still look good! I’m looking forward to finishing off the base coat!

This is the standard

This basecoat is exactly what I look for. It dries very quickly and has a somewhat matte finish so the polish coat will adhere properly. I like this product because I didn't even have to wait for it to dry; it was ready for polish when I was. Great product.

Favourite base coat, hands down

I have tried a lot of base coats from various brands and this was by far my favourite. I received this item, along with a laquer and top coat, free for testing and I was pleasantly surprised! This base coat, topped with their top coat is the perfect combination for great Nails! I would recommend to anyone !!

Great nails need a great base coat

I wear acrylics, so I didn't use this with my manicure, so instead I used it on my toes for a cute halloween themed pedicure.

The base coat went on smoothly, dried quickly, and was a good base for both the CND Creative Play nail polish I recieved and an OPI polish I used for an accent nail (yeah, I'm really into the nail art).

While it's hard to say after only a short time if the base coat is good for preventing stains, I plan on using it for the next month or so to find out. I wear lots of dark polishes and other colours that tend to stain, so I will update this review when I have a better idea of it's effectiveness in that department.

So far, I haven't had any chipping on my toes, even on my little toe where I usually get some wear on the polish after a few days/week. I am very happy with this base coat and look forward to seeing how it holds up over the long term.

While it may be a bit pricey, a good base coat really can make or break your mani/pedi. It can help your polish last longer, so it's worth it to me.

Excellent Base for Any Polish

I tried this base coat under the CND creative play polish and I also tried it under my other nail polish brands. My nails tend to turn slightly yellow when I wear reds or darker tons for a long period of time and this never happened when I wore this base coat! In addition, it was really easy to paint nails after this base coat because it provided a smooth service and filled any imperfections or ridges in my nails! I would definitely recommend this as a way to protect nails and have a smoother looking manicure! I received this product for free for testing purposes.

I really like this base coat, it dries really quick and its easy to apply. Its a better base coat then others in general that I have used.Its a good price for it.

Base Coat

I received the base coat as part of the CND Creative play offer through Chickadvisor. I used it before I used the Nocturne It Up colour. I don't normally use a base coat when doing my nails, so I'm not sure if I used it correctly as I applied my colour right after applying the base coat. I found that the nail colour didn't really adhere as nicely as I imagined to the base coat. However, i did like that the base coat came in a neutral tone so it evened out the colour of the nail before applying the nail colour. I will give it another shot though! #gotitfree
