Base coat did not dry

I used the entire CND collection and while I'm usually a huge fan of CND, my nails did not dry after 3 hours. Instead, they got shmushed and deformed, and I have a strong feeling it was from the base not drying.

Terrible!

I hated these. The quality was terrible. I will never spend any of my own money on any of these branded products ever. The nail polish chipped all of the time and was hard to remove with nail polish remover. Save your money. Do not waste your time with this brand.

Don't really see the point of it

To be honest I don't really see the point of the base coat.
I did my nails with and without it and I didn't see or feel any difference.
I would save myself the money and skip this step next time.

Wouldn’t pay for it

I received the CND™ Creative Play™ Base Coat as part of the ChickAdvisor review club. I was excited to try a new nail polish as I would consider myself a polish snob. If I’m not paying to have my nails done, I typically purchase the best of the best usually not thinking twice about spending $20+ on a bottle of polish.

Even if the Creative Play polishes were your standard pharmacy polish on sale for $2 I wouldn’t opt for it.

The base coat went on okay. Nothing special. The application brush is round not flat so it doesn’t go on the easiest. The smell is also absolutely horrible. It’s extremely toxic smelling and very strong. It dried in an okay time frame but above anything else the smell completely turned me off.

I would never purchase this product nor would I recommend it.
