Overall, I enjoy using CND shellac on my nails, and I enjoyed the experience I has at Lux Spa.

My experience during the application of the products was great, quick results, beautiful finish. The manicure stood up to my daily routine for 2 weeks, no chips and lasting finish. It is still going strong.

The colour selection was great, tons to choose from, lots of reds which I liked, but also tons of neutrals and many other colors - sheer and more dark. I think I understand the difference between Shellac™ and other gel-like products a little bit better after this manicure. I am quite happy with its results and have never seen these kinds of long lasting results with other manicures.

I would get a CND Shellac manicure again and recommend it to a friend for sure.

I was one of those people who would get their nails done once a month, and pay huge amounts of money for it.
When I finally chose to give that up, the fake nails had ruined my natural nails and it took months for new healthy ones to grow in. I am happy to say I have the an inexpensive solution that lasts and lasts! CND Shellac! This product is incredible! Goes on easy, takes no time to dry and lasts up to 14 days! I had my CND Shellac manicure done a week ago and it is still in perfect condition. (no chips :-))

I did the dishes, typed, baked scones and it is still excellent.

The process to apply the polish was quick and there was no waiting around to dry so I couldn't smudge it, which I am infamous for.

Would definitely get it again.

I had a really great experience getting my CND Shellac manicure at Upper Village Spa. The process was about an hour, the colour selection is on point and the finish is beautiful and glossy.

Even after 1 week of going to the gym, washing dishes, doing the laundry, cooking and working all day at the computer - there's absolutely no chipping and it still has its shiny lustre. I really love it! I can't believe how good it still looks!

CND Shellac has a great selection of colours. I love red so I chose Scarlet Letter. It's perfect for my skin colour. The whole process took about 1 hour which included the base coat and colour coat. The manicurist, Cheri, explained how quickly the colour "cures" to the nails and that's why there's no chipping. Drying literally took 2 minutes on each hand. And after a quick wipe down, I was ready to go.

After my Shellac manicure, I actually went right to the gym for a workout. I would never have done that with a regular salon manicure. But with CND Shellac it was not a problem.

When I had my nails done I had them done French Manicure. The manicure it's self I did not like, within 3-4 days my cuticles looked like they needed to be manicured again. When they were shallac they looked beautiful I was very happy. Around the same time 3-4 days latter my polish started chipping off around the tips and cuticles . My nails looked like they needed to be redone.

I tried CND Shellac for the first time and unfortunately, I wasn't impressed with the colour selection. I wanted a medium tone purple and they didn't have it. They also didn't have many shimmery colours to try with my forth nail which I usually do a different colour. I ended up having a hard time choosing a colour that worked for me despite the many options available.

In addition, when the nail polish was applied, it ended up being a bit streaky. Even now there are a few bubble holes within the polish. I think the girl doing my nails knew what she was doing based on what she was saying which made me think that the problem was likely the polish.

Overall, my manicure is still in pretty good shape after 5 days and I expect it will last much longer. I think my preference is for the OPI shellac line which I've used for manicures in the past.

Cnd shellac is amazing made my nails look amazing made them stronger and its amazing super fast drying so no worries about destroying your nails when you get out your money!! I got home and had a sink full of dishes and thought omg they are going to chip but nope still kicking strong since Oct 3rd! Yoy can see the growing from tbe bottom but not from the top no chipping!!! Im so happy chickadvisor picked me to try this product for free!!!

My nails looked beautiful. The polish goes on easily and dries quickly. One week later and they look just as good as when I left the salon. There are no chips like I have with regular nail polish. I have one nail that always splits down the middle and it is still perfect. When the polish is put on they don't have to burn the nail beds or file them like some gels I have tried. The colour I chose was okay. There is a huge selection to choose from. I think I'll try a little lighter shade next time. My girlfriend said she liked the one I chose.

Thanks to ChickAdvisor, I got to test a professional CND Shellac Manicure free of charge at a salon in my area. It was my first time getting my nails done outside of home and also a first for UV polish.

I've familiar with all your regular types of nail polish and in order to get great results, it requires a lot of time and many coats during application. The Shellac polish goes on no differently than what I'm used to. It starts with a clear base coat, 2 coats of your color of choice and a top coat for extra shine. The difference is in between each layer, you put your hand in a little machine that is either a UV or LED powered light that helps dry and "cure" the final product. The result is instant, your nails dry immediately and there is no waiting period between applications.
In all, from the time it took to groomed my nails (like filing and cutting cuticles) to applying the product, I was in and out of the salon in half an hour.

It's been a week and a half now and I can tell the polish is nowhere near wearing off. My nails have grown out and the product itself is intact, it hasn't chipped, dulled or peeled - You just see a demarcation line at the base of my nail for the new growth. It's truly a unique product. I thought my nails would feel rock hard after this, but the polish does have a gel or "gummy" feel such that if you press yours nails in it, it kinda bounces back.
I've washed a ton of dishes, scrubbed windows and did general household chores and Shellac has really stood the test - I'm impressed!

I definitely recommend this UV polish if you want something long lasting and durable, ideal for special events or going on vacation, beach etc.
