SHELLAC

I would never ever use a different type of nail polish again in my life. between working and doing dishes and life things this stays on my nails and helps it fresh for at least two weeks.

I love this polish! I only get it when I go to the nail salon but I love that it lasts longer than normal nail polish especially cause I cook and clean a lot. Usually, regular nail polish lasts a few days before it starts to chip. There is a vast variety of colours which I like, even though I only really wear nudes. The only thing I don't like about this nail polish is that it does ruin your nails when it comes off, especially when the nail tech doesn't know how to take it off properly.

Absolutely love shellac! As a mom I don't always have the time to reapply nail polish as soon as it chips. The shellac lasts a week with no chips! Super impressed

Dries real quick and the top coat is super shiny! I cant wait to use it again, it last for a couple weeks which I thought was amaing

Loved it for my toes. It has been 3 weeks still no chips and it stayed shiny.

I was fortunate enough to join the #TryShellac campaign courtesy of Chick Advisor, which included a free manicure using CND Shellac products. My application was quick which is a bonus for those of us on a time crunch. The Shellac went on really thin which I liked because I can’t stand thick gloopy fake looking manicures. After two weeks my nails still look great and there is no chipping whatsoever. My only minor complaint would be that the products do not do anything to strengthen my nails as I find other gel-like products I’ve tried do. I’m hoping CND will take that into consideration and develop a product that does. I would give CND Shellac another go and try other colors and products in the line as well as further recommend them to friends and family.

I've had 4 shellac manicures in my lifetime. This was the only one that lasted more than a week. Perhaps it was because the spa had the newest dryers/ technology to bond it to my nail and they took the time to ensure my nail bed was clean before applying the nail polish.

My basecoat bubbled initially but the bubbles went away as the next coat was applied. My french shellac manicure lasted 3 weeks with only a minor chip in one nail on day 20. I was really impressed that my manicure looked as good as new when it was time to remove it. I chose a french manicure because I was not particularly fond of any other colour selection available. I am still not clear on the differences between Shellac and other gel nail polishes.

I would recommend a shellac manicure to someone only sporadically as removing the nail polish seems to remove a layer of the nail and make them rough and bumpy.

Although I'm very happy with the color I picked for my manicure but the salon was very limited with color choices of CND Shellac 14+. I didn't like that the manicurist filed down the surface of my nails which I thought was not needed when using the Shellace 14+ as indicated in the video. I really wish that I spoke out and told her not too :) and to put the polish thicker on my nails instead of filling my nails down. However, when my nails were done, they were done! My nails had the wet and shiny finish look. So there was no need to wait to dry or afraid to put my coat on. Quick, easy and fast! While my nail polish lasted 14 days but on day 9+ my nails polish surfaces started to crack on which I think was due to the thin layer application of nail polish my manicurist applied. I think if the nail polished was thicker my nail polish would've lasted a little longer than 14 days. I'll recommend the CND Shellac to friends and family but I'll make sure to tell them not to accept filling down their nails which I now believe is never a good thing. I also which CND would make it clear if their products are environmentally friendly, 5free or cruelty free. It's not clear from the salon, on the CND site, manicurist and even after receiving a replied email. It was still unclear on whether the company is environmentally friendly, 5free or cruelty free so this is why I selected "Undecided" for purchasing it again.

I loved how quickly the process was when it came to receiving the CND Shellac Manicures. I loved that my nails were dry instantly and I was able to leave the salon and do what I needed to do without worrying about ruining the polish. My manicure is still going strong minus one nail! Completely my fault but my hand slipped while using a knife and it came down pretty hard on my nail. It wasn't until a day or two after that, that a portion of the polish came off. I'm certain had I not had a slip-up this would not have happened. The colour I chose was Nordic Lights which I love as a fall colour. I received many compliments on the colour choice! I would get another CND Shellac Manicure as well as recommend it to friends!
