Found this nail polish peels off my nails

I was excited when my beauty advisor at shoppers drug mart told me I should try this nail polish. I am very hard on nail polish. I bought a few bottles and took it home. I was very disappointed to find a few hours later it peeled off my nails. I am not sure what I did wrong but it just would not stick to my nails. I liked the concept but me and the product parted ways.

It may just be because I'm used to getting shellac manicures and maybe my application skills but I find that the polish dries too fast when doing the application on the nails. Then again it is supposed to be quick drying but I find it hard to figure out whether I should layer coats or do one thick coat. Anyways, I'm sticking to Gel/UV/Shellac.

This review is about the colors not the topcoat

I am an esthetician and although I love the topcoat that comes with this polish, I do feel like there is something harsher than what they say in these colours. After wearing the vinylux colour for a little over two weeks, I noticed after removing the polish and leaving my nails bare for a while that my nails had white streaks in them and we’re looking to peel the top layer. This eventually led my nails to become weak and brittle for a while. Although the polish does wear on for a long time I don’t feel that it’s safe to use on a regular basis.

I had high hopes but was let down with this product..
I originally purchased any polish that included the shade romantique ( a sheer pink/ nude) That also came with a mini bottle of the topcoat.
I find I found this product extremely hard to apply and it started to chip off within a day. I had heard really good things about this product so I was hoping to like it more than I did. Perhaps not all shades are created equally? Also the small bottle could have added to the challenge of application.

I will update if I purchase a full size colour and a different shade and get better results.

Slightly disappointed

I was so excited to see CND in drugstores. I picked up my fave shade - Cake Pop, the one I usually get done in Shellac at the nail salon. Application is fantastic and super smooth, high shine, high pigmented look. Buut it chips oh so easily :( Within 24-48 hours my nails were entirely chipped. It's no longer lasting than any other regular polish I've ever used unfortunately, despite claiming to last a week. I've tried it repeatedly to no success

Beautiful nude and easy application

I received this polish for free as part of Chickadvisor's review club. The color of the polish is beautiful and exactly what I chose. I love the nude shade that goes well with just about anything. It sometimes looks great, or beige and even a light lavender depending on the lighting.

I tried Shellac just once before and thought this would be a similar alternative for long lasting wear. However it was not very resistant and felt like a regular varnish.

I applied two coats of color as recommended along with the top coat which was glossy. The application is easy, the wide brush makes painting your nails super fast as you only need one stroke. I found that with two coats it definitely took some time to dry and even encounted some air bubbles that were hard to eliminate.

On day 2 and 3 of wearing this polish it was already chipping and I think this is due to how thick the end result was. With 3 coats of polish, I could almost peel the product off with my nails and after doing some light chores around the house or multiple hand washes, this did not stand the test.

Perhaps if I tried just two coats in total it wouldn't be so thick however what's good with this color is that the nude is very forgiving. Unlike wearing dark or super red color, once this starts to chip, you can still extend your wear since it just blends into the same color as your nails and skin and isn't so obvious.

I would have expected something better in terms of lasting power but since the color and application is so nice, I would still recommend it.

Stunning colour, no lasting power

I was very excited to try this new product in a colour that I had never worn before in any nail polish (a lovely dark blue, almost navy, called "Midnight Swim"). The colour blew me away immediately, and I thought I was in love! Until the next day (less than 18 hours after applying the polish), when it was chipped on almost all my fingers, including the ones that don't usually get as much wear.
Maybe this is because I did not use a basecoat, as I normally would, but the product claimed not to need one. I will try again, as I really do love the look of it, but need to figure out how to make it last more than a day.

I received this product for free in return of my honest review. I was slightly disappointed because it did not last more than a couple days. I loved the colour though!

Thanks for the sample, I thought it was a nice nail polish. It was a dark blue colour that is a nice shade for winter. I like the top coat, it went on smoothly.

Not what I was expecting

Not what I was Expecting. The vendor told me that it would last at least 1 week without chipping ... Well it didn't last 2 days... he finish is beautiful but doesn't last longer than the Sally Hansen at 2$
