The Vinylux Weekly Polish is a great, long lasting nail polish. Easy to use and definitely different than my other polishes. However, the colour I tested, Fedora #114 was too dark for me and it didn't really look nice on my nails. I usually wear a soft pink or beige, not a dark burgundy. I would try this polish in a different colour.
I had received the product free as part of the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club.
Not such a big fan of the dark purple color but was daughter and her friend were glad to try it. They loved it!!
after a week of having it one this is what we had to say : Most of the time the nail polish would start to crack or chip after a few days but for this brand it had lasted a full 7 days with shine and no chips...that's great!!
I suppose that's an improvement from regular nail polish that chips after a day.
Thanks ChickAdvisor Product Review Club!!
I was so excited to have the oppurtunigy to try CNDs Weekly Polish for free. (Thanks CND & Chick Advisor!) I extended the length of time I needed to review because I have tried this Polish several ways to test it's overall longevity. I found that this polish NEEDS the required CND Weekly topcoat to achieve a weeks worth of wear. On it's own it simply wouldn't last. The system is what gives it longevity. I didn't like the color I recieved called Clay Canyon. It didn't compliment my olive skin tone. I also tried this polish as a base under one of my favorite neutral, regular polishes by another brand and then topped it with the week long top coat by CND and the polish lasted a week and then some. I was extra hard on my hands in all tests. I play guitar strumming with my nails, did dishes, bleached and dyed my hair. I am only now starting to experience some chipping after 9 consecutive days of wear and abuse!! That's excellent!! My fellow beauty product gurus, you must know that not even Seche veve who is renound for it's long wear capabilities can pull that off! I did love the polish. I found it applied fairly evenly and with few air bubbles!
I received this free to test from ChickAdvisor. I really liked it although it didn't quite last me a week it's definitely better then other polishes I have used in the past. I'm sure if I wasn't constantly using my hands with dishes, cleaning etc. it would have lasted the full week.
It doesn't chip quite as fast as regular stuff but I do find it's not a shiny after a few days. Love the color I got. Do have other colors from this brand
I revived this product from chick advisor to review. I got the shade Crimson crush, which is as its name describes it, a crimson red. I feel it is a classic red
, reminiscent of the holidays with great metallic sheen to it. The two step cnd vinylux system is easy to use. I like that no base coat is needed and that the top coat leaves the nails so glossy and perfect. As for Crimson crush, it went on so well. Smooth and opaque. That I didn't feel a second coat was nessisary. Which lets face it, never happens. I found the formula lasted longer then the average polish, but with my wrough usage l, still only lasted a few days. The brush is a typical round one, nothing fancy or special about it
Overall I like the two step system and would consider getting more shades to have in my collection.
I received the CND VINYLUX Weekly Polish for free from ChickAdvisor in exchange for an honest review of the product. I was super excited to try out nail polish because I am a nail polish enthusiast.
I received the shade Married to the Mauve, which is a beautiful colour but not my favourite. The first layer of the nail polish that I applied was pretty opaque, however a second coat was needed. The top coat was then applied after the colour nail polish.
The nailpolish was suppose to last 7 days, however it started chipping at around 3 days. I did wash the dishes and and do various everyday activities that would ware down the nailpolish. It may be different for others depending on the type of activities you're doing and how many coats of nailpolish you used, and the colour and so forth. In comparison to the other brands that I use, Essie and OPI tend to last longer.
However, I was researching the price for the nailpolish and chickadvisor stated that each bottle was $12.50 per 15 ml. However, I wouldn't be spending $13 per CND nailpolish because Essie and OPI tend to last longer on my nails. Also, CND promises that there is a 7 day guarentee no chipping, and I don't believe that to be true. My sister also tried the nailpolish out and she had the same results. I would rather pay $12 for an OPI nail polish that I know will last through experience.
CND does have pretty shades and my shade seemed pretty opaque. There wasn't a lot of streaking and the product looks promising. However,CND pales to other brands I use in comparison. I would definitely recommend this product if there is a particular shade you like because it a good quality nail polish.
I was very excited to receive this CND Vinylux weekly polish and top coat for free to review from Chickadvisor. I do my nails weekly wanted to see if it lasted for 7 days chip free.
This polish is chip resistant. It lasted 5 days before I saw some small chips in it. It looked decent for 7days before I needed to take it off. My usual polish lasts 4 days before I need to take it off due to chipping.
The colour they sent me is BEAUTIFUL (Crimson Sash #174). It had an amazing shine and gloss to it. I received complaints the first day I put it on. It took 2 coats to have opaque, streak-free coverage which I find comparable to other polishes.
I would definitely recommend this nail polish.
I loved this polish, it lasted 4 days and I'm constantly cleaning and washing things so 4 days is a bonus for me!! Loved the color also a baby blue for summer, so perfect I received a lot of complements!! Would defiantly recommend this polish to friends and family, so many pretty colors too!!
I received this nail polish for review and I was very excited to try as nail polish usually chips on me early! I will admit when I opened the package I hated the colour but I wanted to try it anyways. It took 3 coats to get it opaque and to my surprise, the colour was great! It was 6 days before I saw a chip but I kept this polish on for 8 days before I took it off and re-applied! I am thankful I was able to try this product and I will be repurchasing this product in other colours!
