I received this polish as part of the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club!
I was pretty excited to try it out, but I have to say - it's awful. I am admittedly hard on my hands and nails, but I have better results with a regular polish and quick drying top coat than I did with this CND polish. The colour I received was Wild Moss. The first coat went on very streaky, but the second smoothed it over. It had significant tip wear and had chipped on several nails after 24 hours! I was very disappointed.
I received this product in the shade Dandelion from Chick Advisor in exchange for my review.
I really wanted to like this product. I am a nail polish junkie! Something that lasts 7 days? I usually change polish before then! Yes please! Unfortunately it didn't work for me.
I started the first time with one thin coat on each hand. I capped each finger. Reread the instructions about no base coat about ten times, but when I applied the second thin coat, it was so streaky and patchy - I had to remove it and begin again. The second time with slightly thicker coats. Shaking the bottle gently. After 2 coats, there was still visible nail line, and I couldn't get the lacquer to level. I added another coat to my right hand.
The topcoat went on lovely. It felt nice and strong. My manicure looked better after it went on. Capped the ends, as instructed.
The next day I washed my hands and the polish chipped and peeled off in sheets. The only things I think I could do differently were to buff my nails first in lieu of base coat.
I wonder if I got a hard to work with color or formula, but it was a disappointment.
I was selected to review this nail polish for free by chick advisor and let me tell you I could hardly wait for it to arrive! Finally it did, nice and early in the morning and I applied it right away. Loved the way it went on, smooth and easy, I'd say one of the easiest polishes to apply. The shine is fantastic, the polish looks very professional on. I had such high hopes for it to last! Alas, it didn't happen. The next day after application two of my nails chipped. The next day 3 more. By day 3 I had to remove it as my nails looked simply unsightly! Very high expectations, not great results unfortunately. I am a mom of two, so I know I am rough on my hands, will just have to keep waiting for shellac quality polish without the hassles of shellac.
Last week I tried CND Vinylux’s Weekly Polish System in Fragrant Freesia and was regrettably unsatisfied with this product. I either wear no nail polish or have my nails done with shellac because quite honestly, I can’t be bothered to worry about whether my nails look good all of the time. So when I heard about CND Vinylux’s Weekly Polish System, I was optimistic that this may be the solution, especially since Shellac manicures are expensive! This product is supposed to provide 7 day, chip-resistant wear in the form of regular nail polish; is supposed to be fast-drying; and, is supposed to provide long-lasting shine.
To start, it took me 3 attempts to apply this nail polish because it went on streaky and kept smudging. I expected that ten minutes would be long enough to wait for something that purports to be quick-drying, but for my final attempt at application, I waited 30 minutes before doing anything, just to be sure.
Once I got the nail polish on (and settled on having streaky nails for a week) I started coming around to the product because it really felt like it was stuck on there. Plus, I was willing to chalk the streaky application to the light colour of the nail polish and figured that had I tried a darker colour, I wouldn’t have had the same problem. That was, until I went to the spa on Day 3.
After a couple of hours in the spa, the polish started wearing at the bottom and by Day 4, the nail polish was peeling off in large chunks, leaving my nails ratty looking. Finally, when it came to removing the polish, I could barely get it off with acetone remover and my nails were left with a layer of sparkles that I could not get off!
Unfortunately, this product was not what I had hoped it would be. While the polish may have lasted longer had I not spent a day at the spa, I’m sure that this polish would not be a good option for someone who frequently gets their hands wet. I had really hoped that this product would have been a good alternative to shellac, but it just didn’t get the job done. I would not recommend this product.

I was pretty excited to try it out, but I have to say - it's awful. I work in retail and am self admittedly hard on my hands and nails, but I have better results with a regular polish and quick drying top coat than I did with this CND polish. The colour I received was Asphalt, a nice deep grey. The first coat went on very streaky, but the second smoothed it over. It had significant tip wear and had chipped on several nails after 24 hours! I was very disappointed. I wasn't doing anything at work or at home that was overly hard on my hands either, just basic stuff.
Overall I would not recommend this product! At all!
I was super excited about trying this product and it only lasted a couple days - just slightly better than regular polish. I attempted this twice and had the same problem. Wouldn't recommend.
I recieved this product from ChickAdvisor to review for them, and honestly I didn't enjoy it. I do my nails every two weeks myself with home shellac, so I know how to apply nail polish. This product I found very lumpy and streaky. It set really quick, which caused lumps, but the actual drying took forever, so I still smudged a few tips a couple of times. It started peeling within days and I removed it to go back to my regular polish in no time.
