I've got free CND Vinylux Weekly Nail Polish and Top Coat to test. I had very high expectations, and really wanted them to work, since I am yet to find nail polish that can survive on my nails longer than 5 days. That being said, this one is not the one. After only 3 days of regular housework (laundry, dishes etc), it started chipping and peeling off, although I gave it very long time to completely dry off.
Positives are that that it did dry really fast and was very shiny, and it has no nasty ingredients. Negatives, besides not being long lasting is that it came on really streaky, especially the second coat. The top coat fixed it a bit, and the color being light it was not very visible, but it still bothers me. I think this particular color (Fragrant Freesia - very light pink with white glitter) would have looked nicer with only one coat, but I wanted to follow the instructions on applying it. Maybe that is just my preference. It looks nicer in pictures than close-up.
Compared to other polishes I use, I would say this one is average. It is in line with drugstore nail polishes I tried, and even some of them apply better than this one. Compared to higher end ones, like Formula X, I don't think it comes even close.

I received CND VINYLUX Weekly Polish in Fragrant Freesia with the Top Coat to try from Chick Advisor.
Fragrant Freesia is a light pink color with very fine shimmery flakes in it.
This polish actually impressed me a lot. It lasted the whole seven days for me, with barely any wear. I'm a stay-at-home mom, so I use my hands a lot too. Really great! Especially for someone like me who can't really get around to painting her nails every time they chip!
I wasn't a huge fan of the color, but it really lived up to my expectations.
I would definitely recommend this brand, and I will be purchasing it in the future.
Thank you, Chick Advisor!
I was excited to be picked to try this out as I enjoy painting my nails when I can. I will admit I am hard on my nails and most polishes do not last more then a day or 2. The color I received was Indigo Frock #176. Its not a color I would normally wear but it looks alright.
I do like that it's 7 free: free of toluene, camphor, formaldehyde, phthalates, formaldehyde resin, xylene, or lead. It did go on easy and was quick drying. I followed the directions to a T and a day later they are starting to fade at the tips and chip. Thats disappointing since it claims to last 7 days. I'm glad to have gotten the chance to try it for free and not spent that much on something that doesn't work.

I was lucky enough to receive this product as part of a review club!
I wasn't digging the mint colour I received, at first, but after I used it I did really like it! It's a great colour for spring / summer! (Mint Convertible #166)
The polish is very thin, I wasn't sure if the recommended two coats would cut it, but it suprisingly did. Although it appeared to be slightly streaky, once it set it looked great!
I tried it on a few nails with regular nail polish, no top coat, on the others. This polish did not chip on me! It has been on for just about a week now! (Mind you, the regular polish hasn't chipped yet either!)

Test #1:
The directions clearly stated that you need only two thin coats of colour and one coat of topcoat, so I decided to forego my usual basecoat application for the first test. The colour #181 Salmon Run does not apply well. I found it to be very streaky and it required a third coat to achieve any opacity. I made sure to cap the tips with both the colour and topcoat. I applied the polish around noon and had several chips by dinner time. By the following day, almost every nail was chipped and peeling. I figured it was likely due to the lack of base coat, so I removed the polish and began test #2.
Test #2:
For this test, I first applied one coat of Glisten and Glow's Stuck on Blu Basecoat (my go-to) and then three coats of the colour polish and one coat of topcoat, making sure to cap the tips again. The application was still streaky, but it lasted much longer with the addition of the basecoat underneath. I'm now on day 6 of this manicure, and only have one small chip on the tip of my thumbnail.
The colour I received was pretty finicky, as are most lighter creme polishes, so I'd definitely be willing to try Vinylux again with a different shade. The wear was great, as long as I used a basecoat, and the high-shine finish remained in tact throughout the week. The price is a little bit higher than I normally spend on salon brand polish, but is on par with most of the indie brands I buy, so I wouldn't mind putting the money out for a few shades that I really like. If you like your manicures to last a full week, I would definitely recommend Vinylux, but if you change your polish often, it may not be worth the money.
Ok I'll start with the positives.I love that the CND Weekly Polish and Topcoat doesn't have a strong smell and it dries really really fast. However it didn't last a week on me, it started chipping by the second day and by the 4th there wasn't one nail left 'complete'. This may last longer on someone who doesn't do much with their hands but I'm a Stay at home mom of 2 little kids and the constant washing of little bodies may not be compatible with this. Thanks for the opportunity to test and review this product. I got this free from CND VINYLUX via Chick Advisor in exchange for an honest review.
I was super excited to receive this nail polish and top coat because I wash my hands frequently throughout the day and type a lot because of work and nail polish does not last. It usually doesn't look too bad for about two days. I received the Dandelion colour, which is about my skin colour so it looked strange on, but I was still willing to give the product a chance because colour has little to do with quality. It was extremely finicky to put on and left streaks no matter how many coats I put on. The nail polish would start to dry as I was putting it on my nails, which made it look really streaky. The top coat was fine, if not a little thinner than I expected. So here I am with streaky and completely dried nail polish with a top coat on, I go to work and start typing away and after a couple of hours my nails are all chipped up at the ends. Obviously I had to take it off.

I was very happy to receive the @CNDCanada VINYLUX set to try and review free from Click Advisor - thank you for choosing me !
I found the VINYLUX to have (so far) much be better chip-resistance, VERY pleased it is SO fast-drying, as that's an awesome quality rare to good at home type polishes!
I like the high shine finish as that's most of the reason I polish my nails in the first place is to have a great shiny finish!
Unfortunately, I just received my set to test in my mailbox 2 days ago, and the deadline for submitting my review is tomorrow - so I haven't been able to have time to do the full week / 2 tests and review yet- but I will add an update to my review as to comparing with other products I've used in the pay, durability, longer wearing chip resistance stats and so on.
But at this point I'm on day two of the product testing , and what I like so far is ease of application, no overwhelming scent of most polishes (I barely smelled it at all while applying ), really fast drying -
And the shine rocks !!!
I've personally loved the #CNDCANADA brand for quite some time now so keep the great products coming !!
As part of Chickadvisor's Product Review Club, I recently got the opportunity to try out CND Vinylux nail polish and topcoat! Surprising as it may seem, I've never tried this brand before. While I have used long wear topcoats before (set by UV in the sun, not by a lamp), I've not ever used CND's version. I am a shellac wearer but I always get that done in a salon, by a professional. Shellac (gel polish) is my choice when I will be travelling and don't want to take polish with me. I've never really trusted traditional polishes to last for a full business trip and still look professional and un chipped for any given meeting.
The shade sent to me for review was Tango Passion, a purple leaning pink shimmer. Importantly, the review package included the weekly top coat. The polish itself is pretty and has an interesting shimmer to it. I used 2 coats for a nice, opaque finish. The formula is workable and pleasant. I didn't have significant pooling or streaking, although the shimmer did want to show brush strokes in some lights, so careful application is important.
What's important to note is the topcoat. This is the magic that actually made my manicure last for the full week. You can tell you're dealing with a long term topcoat when it comes in an opaque black bottle. This is because the topcoat hardens and cures with regular UV light. That means, spending some time out in the sun actually makes your manicure stronger!
The top coat and color coat don't necessarily have to be used together, but doing so will help the polish live up to its claim of lasting, chip free for a full week.
