I received this product in the shade Dandelion from Chick Advisor in exchange for my review.
I really wanted to like this product. I am a nail polish junkie! Something that lasts 7 days? I usually change polish before then! Yes please! Unfortunately it didn't work for me.
I started the first time with one thin coat on each hand. I capped each finger. Reread the instructions about no base coat about ten times, but when I applied the second thin coat, it was so streaky and patchy - I had to remove it and begin again. The second time with slightly thicker coats. Shaking the bottle gently. After 2 coats, there was still visible nail line, and I couldn't get the lacquer to level. I added another coat to my right hand.
The topcoat went on lovely. It felt nice and strong. My manicure looked better after it went on. Capped the ends, as instructed.
The next day I washed my hands and the polish chipped and peeled off in sheets. The only things I think I could do differently were to buff my nails first in lieu of base coat.
I wonder if I got a hard to work with color or formula, but it was a disappointment.
I was excited to receive this product to try as part of the Product Review Club. My usual brands of nail polish is OPI and Zoya. I like Zoya because it is a vegan product. That said I was happy to see that CND VINYLUX has less of the harsh chemicals that normal nail products contain. I am pleasantly surprised by this product. My job requires me to do a lot of typing which makes it nearly impossible to keep a manicure, however, I applied CND VINYLUX over 7 days ago and it is still going strong. The top coat adds shine and definitely made the color brighter. I would recommend this product to anyone. Also looking forward to using it over other colors I already have in my collection.
I'm an OPI girl, myself. I often stray away from the brand, but wind up returning to it for one reason or another (I mention this because it is my best point of comparison). I followed the instructions carefully, and applied 2 light coats of the polish and a final coat of the varnish after that. The polish still looks as if it could have used another coat or a third layer to really make the color pop. The varnish seems to have worked well, and I would definitely use it over top of other nail polish products as I generally find they make a big difference. I'm not crazy about the color of this polish, but I have to give the brand credit for eliminating some of the harsher chemicals and truly focusing on reducing chipping (I've had mine on for 24 hours, and so far no chipping). I so badly want for this to be a home run, but I'm still not 100% sold on the consistency of the polish itself. That said, I would give this another go with another color.
I was really excited to have a manicure last 7 days. I also liked that this product is free of some nasty chemicals and fast drying. I got the colour Mint Convertible. It looked a lot more beautiful on the nails than it did in the bottle.
I found the nail polish very thick, so it was difficult to apply thin coats per the instructions. I followed the instructions and did my best to apply 2 thin coats to my nails and then applied the top coat.
I found it applied very streaky with 2 thin coats. So, on my other hand I applied 3 coats so it was thicker and wasn't streaky looking. The product did dry very quickly.
The hand with 3 coats looked like a beautiful manicure. The hand with the 2 coats was too sheer and streaky. But, the hand with only 2 coats lasted much longer than the hand with 3 coats. I had chipping of the polish within 2 days on the hand with 3 coats, and chipping on hand with 2 coats within 3 days.
At the end of the 7 days the hand with the 2 coats of polish faired much better than the hand with 3 coats of polish in terms of not chipping. The trade off was that the manicure with 2 thin coats looks streaky although it lasted longer.
Perhaps I got a bad batch since it was so thick. Or maybe it takes some practice to get it right.
In the picture that I have shared the top left pic is fresh after the manicure. The bottom left picture is the hand with 2 coats of polish on day 7. The picture on the right is the hand with 3 coats of polish on day 7.
Unfortunately, based on my experience I would not purchase this product.
I received the product free as part of the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club, all opinions are my own.
First trying this brand polish,I was excited but when u try on it surprised me too ,the colour is nice and dry very quickly but it's low quality when it shows on my nails ,the smell of it is way too strong, not recommended to any of u!it just waste money !
I absolutely hated this nail polish. I was quite excited to receive it but when I started to apply it I was disappointed. I received a light brown, it was extremely streaky, very hard to apply, shear and left bald spots. The more coats I applied to fix it and to make it more opaque the worse it was. The next day I woke up and it also chipped. It did not last for seven days and it had a horrible application process. It is very finicky and difficult to work with.

Thank you Chick Advisor! I received my set of CND™ VINYLUX™ Weekly Polish for free from the Product Review Club. I don't often wear nail polish on my hands anymore because of the maintenance required...but I was quite impressed with this one. I used to use mostly OPI and Loreal but I really liked the how this one glided on and the scent wasn't as offensive as OPI is. The durability of this polish was fantastic (maybe cause i'm not doing a lot of housework??) It lasted me about 3 days without much chipping at all and maybe another 2days before I had to remove it. That's simply amazing. Only Polish on my toes even last so thank you for the opportunity.
I received a chance to try CND™ VINYLUX™ Weekly Polish for free from ChickAdvisor Product Review Club. I was actually impressed with the durability of the polish. I don't wear polish often simply because it lasts one day and its all chipped up and done for. CND™ VINYLUX™ Weekly Polish lasted me about 4 days without much chipping at all. I even did yard work and ended up digging bare handed in gravel during that 4 days. The gravel wore the shine off of the top coat but there was still very little chipping! Quite impressed and will purchase more as well as recommend it to friends and family. Thanks for the opportunity.
I received a polish and a top coat from chickadvisor for reviewing purposes. I dont paint my nails frequently as i find maintenance and upkeep too much of a hassle. I liked that this polish applied very nicely and was not streaky. As well, i find with most polish before the end of the for a day, my polish is already chipping. This one did not, which makes it perfect for those of us that dont have time to touch up every day. As well this polish is always 7-free, which is definitely another plus!
I was chosen to review CND Vinylux weekly Polish through Chick Advisor. I put on the nail polish and top coat just like the directions said but its day 3 ans I got to remove it. It's coming off my nails. I have been doing laundry ans dishes and regular mommy housework and I've noticed ita chipping and I got to take it off my nails. Good got anybody who doesn't get their hands dirty. The color I was given was rose brocade and I love the color. Bright and bold.
