Nice and glossy but doesn't last a week

I received this polish for free as part of Chickadvisor's review club. I used it combination with the Vinylux polish that was a beutiful nude color.

After applying 2 coats of polish and 1 of this top coat, I expexted my nails to last as nice as day one for a week. However after only 2 or 3 days I was already seeing chips and the texture was so thick in the end that I could almost peel everything off with my nails.

The top coat is glossy and doesn't take too long to dry on its own however with 3 coats total I found I had to wear almost an hour or it would smudge. I even noticed air bubbles upon application.

The combined wear of the Vinylux polish and top coat did not last a week and I don't know how these normally retail for, but I would not pay any more than your regular Revlon or Sally Hansen brands.

I initially thought this brand would be similar to the Shellac experience which can last the test of time, however this is a totally different product that is just like a regular polish.

Great for Teachers

I bought this product because I chip my nails within a day! The top coat went on smoothly and made a shiny finish. It didnt last a week but it did last longer than the traditional top coat. I would love to see how it does when I’m not washing my hands all the time as a teacher!

I was very excited to receive CDN VINYLUX Weekly Top Coat to review as part of ChickAdvisor's Product Review Club.

This was a great product, and one that I'd definitely use again. I love that it did indeed last just over a week. Not only that, with the lovely thick and rounded brush, the product goes on really easily and smoothly. What a great product!

Perfect Top Coat!

The top coat went on smooth and clear, and seemed to really help the colour underneath last with no chips for about a week. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a shinny finished top coat!

Dries quick and easy

This top coat was very easy to apply. It dried quickly with no bubbles or issues. I did find that working a desk job, my nails did chip before the week was up.

Tried it free

I tried it on top on the tropical colour. It dried ok, wish it dried faster.
Went on easy and smoothly without issues.
This did help the couloir last over 1 full week without any chips on toes.
Did a lot of walking in sandals and bare foot in the ocean and on the beach.
I will buy more of this.

Awesome!

I got the top coat for free to try and I loved it! It increases the longevity of a manicure no matter how many times you wash your hands/sanitize. This made my manicure and pedicure last for a week without any chips. I'd recommend this for sure.

Smooth and Long Lasting

This top coat is awesome! It applies thicker than what I am used to, but after getting the handle of it I love the formula. It creates a smooth layer on top of my colour without a lot of effort. I also used it to fix a crack in my sculptured nails. The brush is wider than other brand which allows it to fit the nail better. Overall, I would reccommend this top coat because it applies evenly and dries quickly! I also believe this top coat has allowed my toenails to remain mostly chip free for 3 weeks!

Perfect!

The top coat is amazing! Is gave a stronger colour to my nail polish, and the polish was more durable. I used before and after to put the nail polish and it worked perfectly.

Not a new favourite, sadly.

I love the matching bottle of topcoat to go with the colour (in my case, "Midnight Swim"). I am not sure if it actually makes a difference, but it feels special to have a set of polish.
However, mine chipped within a day of application. Chipped badly, on almost all of my fingers. I am not sure if this is because of the lack of basecoat or if the topcoat is not effective, or if there is another reason altogether, but I was not impressed. Which is sad, because I really fell in love with the colour.
