Acne
This mask left me with red skin and made me break out. I don’t have sensitive skin, and this made me break out in acne for some reason. I don’t think it was anything I did wrong, I followed the instructions correctly and did everything it told me. I would use again
oil absorbing
tends to be a favourite among skincare brands and enthusiasts alike. It's the most gentle of the clays, and although it is less oil-absorbent than its green counterpart, it's the most suitable for sensitive skin (or dry skin)
Hydration for 15 minutes
I bought the 150ml/5 fl. oz bottle of Skip the Spa Coconut Shea and Clay Mask from Ardene Canada. It claims it soothes and hydrates. It also claims it purifies and detoxifies clogged pores, providing a revitalized uplifted appearance to tired, dull, dry looking skin. The added coconut and shea butter helps to soothe and hydrate for a more radiant and youthful looking complexion. I found that the products hydrates then dries during the 15 minutes it is on. The texture of it is quite curdly with water coming out of the tube. The directions say to apply the product to a clean and dry face. Spread the mask evenly over the face avoiding contact with the eyes and lips. Leave on for 15 minutes. Wash off with lukewarm water and pat dry. Use 1 to 2 times a week for all skin types. I tried rubbing and patting the product to dry it. The patting felt a lot more hydrating on the skin. The label says to discontinue if irritation occurs. Irritation did not occur.Overall this product is a good one. I haven't seen spectacular results, however for the $12.90 + tax I paid for it it works okay.
