Works
Picked up one whim and have always made sure to never go without. It helps with stains as I am a coffee drinker. Colgate optimum white is budget friendly
Works but not as well as you'd hope.
I can say that yes, there was a definate whitening effect with this toothpaste, it just wasn't quite we optical as I had pinned my hopes on.
The taste wasn't bad, just like regular toothpaste so it's great that way. But if you were hoping for dramatic results, this isn't the toothpaste to pin your hopes on.
i like it
this is another trusted brand of toothpaste that i will purchase. i like the whitening effect, works well for me. the price is ok, easy to find in drugstore.
Difficult consistency
It's a strange and messy consistency. I have to constantly fight to squeeze it out of the tube and then I have to wipe it in order to be able to close the top.
My smile is sexier and brighter
I was a little skeptical at first thinking this whiteing toothpaste be just like the rest false promises but to my amazmment it worked amd it work fast in just a few days I could see more brighter healiter looking teeth. The mint flavor taste so good and it wakes your mouth up and gives you fresh breath as well. The texture is good . The toothpaste has a great taste . I love it , my entire family like it ,it's out go to Toothpaste now .
The best toothpaste!
This is the best whitening toothpaste I have ever tried. It has strong minty flavor and I don't like the taste of this, but it works very well. I notised a difference within a few days. My teeth are much brighter and cleaner. It's my favorite toothpaste.
It definitely helped my yellow straining
I've had stained teeth ever since I was young. But this toothpaste has actually made a very noticeable difference! I've tried white strips before and they hurts my gums. But this toothpaste paste has given me the effect that I wanted and while doing something I already comfortably do, brushing my teeth! I love it.
Good lord, it burns! Stay away
I figured out something today! Here is a product review and a mystery solved:
TL;DR- Don't use Radiant Colgate Optic White Beauty toothpaste. It causes sensitivity, burns, cuts and other unpleasant side effects, well documented by lots of other consumers. Hydrogen peroxide in toothpaste = OUCH!
I have been using the Colgate Optic White Beauty toothpaste on and off for a few months. It seemed to work quite well at whitening my teeth, but I didn't like how sensitive my mouth felt so would only use it 2/3 times a week. I didn't think much of it at the time.
During this time, I also started having issues with the swelling of my tongue, sore skin in my mouth, cuts on my lips, cuts in the corner of my lips and pain. I thought it was something to do with my diet, and tried making some changes. I couldn't figure out what was going on. I've been using chapstick regularly, and still this kept happening.
Today I was looking for causes of this and remedies online, and stumbled across other compaints from people who had issues with the Colgate Optic White toothpaste. They sound very similar to mine. I realized that the soreness and cuts always matched when I was using the toothpaste. I just used it before I started googling the issue, and feel silly for not realizing this was causing it earlier. My tongue is definitely swollen, my mouth is sore, the cuts keep opening up- and all of it seems much more painful right after brushing my teeth with this toothpaste tonight.
I am very concerned that this product is still on shelves when there are so many people who have had bad reactions to it. I have trusted the Colgate brand for most of my life, and I am very disappointed to have had this experience with this product. It's gotten to the point where every time I open my mouth to eat something or yawn, the cuts in the corner of my mouth open up again.
I'd highly recommend avoiding this toothpaste, or seeing if you have the same issues before using it everyday. I'm writing to Colgate to complain about this product, and hope this review helps some of you not go through the same pain as I did!
Not For Me
I have to start off by saying that I am not a big fan of "whitening" toothpastes. I feel there are better ways to whiten your teeth. When I received a complimentary sample of Colgate Optic White Radiant Toothpaste, I was hesitant to try it but did so in order to provide an honest review. First of all the packaging is as as radiant as the product promises your teeth will be which is a nice touch. The scent is a strong minty scent that lives up to it's name "Icy Mint" and the flavor is even stronger, leaving you with a strong fresh breath feeling when you're done brushing which is a positive. A negative for me was the way that this toothpaste felt on my teeth. Personally, it just felt tingly and strange but I guess that may just be the product doing it's job and whitening my teeth. I honestly didn't continue use after the one time I sampled it. So I can't comment on if it whitens your teeth or not. As for the price, it seems too high for me considering I think there are better Colgate products on the market that I prefer over Colgate Optic White Radiant. With all this said, I think this product just isn't for me but I am grateful to have had the opportunity to try before I buy.
I would buy again
I would definitely buy Colgate Optic White Beauty Radiant Whitening Toothpaste. It was recommended to me from a friend I am now on my second tube and I am very pleased with the results I find my teeth are whiter and shiny. The taste is good and keeps my breath fresh all day.
