This is my only toothpaste I use. It has the strength of all the other products in one. It cleans and whitens at the same time. I noticed a difference right away!

I had a free product coupon to try Colgate Optic White Toothpaste. I picked it up at my local grocery store, and I realized it is a little pricy.The Colgate Optic White formula is a first for Colgate. It contains hydrogen peroxide, the ingredient used in whitening strips to remove stains below the surface of teeth, for whiter teeth in 1 week. I also had seem quite a few commercials which also drew me in. Great marketing, but this product simply didn't deliver for me. I wasn't impressed at all, and the difference was not even really noticeable. I am glad this was a free product, and I will not be using this toothpaste again. I will got back to using my normal brand, which gives me what I need from a toothpaste.

I picked up a few tubes of this on sale when it first came out, and I really do enjoy the toothpaste. It has a nice flavour, and leaves my mouth feeling clean and fresh. The "sweaters" that usually form on your teeth during the day seem to stay away until I can get home and brush again, and my family also enjoys using it. We let our daughter use it, because she is concerned about her yellow teeth, but is not old enough to have them whitened. I did not find it made my teeth much whiter, but have noticed a difference in both my husband and my daughter. She seems to find confidence in using it.

I think I was expecting a bit more based on their advertisements. I did see a change after a week but I don't think as much as I thought I would, but it was still noticeable! It leaves my mouth feeling fresh after brushing, which is a definite requirement for me when using whitening toothpaste. It's the one I use every day now :)

with regards to their claims of whitening? negligible. it says on the tube that you'll see results after a week. i saw nothing after almost 4 weeks.

as a toothpaste its good. the taste isnt overwhelming, and the foaming action feels great. my mouth feels fresh and clean for quite a bit after brushing.

i wish it came in a gel version as i normally prefer gel toothpastes

price is not outrageous. totally worth it for a toothpaste.

I liked this toothpaste but I think maybe I was just expecting too much because it kind of fell flat for me. I did see a difference but it wasn't a huge one. I think since this toothpaste contains the same ingredients as the strips, I expected a bigger difference but I only saw a small difference.

A weird complaint too but I found that on skin, it was really strong and burned a bit. Not pleasent. The price is just ok, not too bad but not great either.

I see the same results with my less expensive Arm & Hammer toothpaste so I think I will stick with that. It's not a bad product but the whitening toothpaste market is so saturated, I think you can find the same thing for around this price or less.

I also had a coupon for this product and decided to try it. It is FANTABULOUS! I love it. It leaves your mouth feeling fresh and it actually does whiten your teeth. I definitely recomment trying it if you haven't already. You won't be sorry :)

Best new toothpaste on the market. I absolutely love this. I did have a coupon for it , so I bought many tubes. Not only does it leave your mouth fresh feeling for longer, it really does whiten. This is my new toothpaste and have told friends and family about it.

Colgate, this one is a winner.

I tried this toothpaste and noticed a difference right away!...like, my teeth where sparkling.
I would highly recommend this esp. if you need your teeth whiter in a pinch.

I have been using Colgate Optic White for 4 weeks now. I wanted to wait a month for my review because I wanted to be sure of whether or not I would see an improvement. Sadly, no improvement was seen. This is no different than any other whitening toothpaste; aside from the price point. The taste is great, the consistency is great (well it is toothpaste... I'm looking for positives here), and it has a nice foam. Some whitening toothpastes don't foam enough for my liking.
I do not smoke, but I regularly drink coffee and occasioanlly drink red wine, so there is some ongoing staining of my teeth. Perhaps, if I did not regularly use whitening toothpastes, or had not used professional, and whitening strips in the past I would have noticed an improvement. Chickies, save your money and go for a brand with baking soda, or spend a little extra and get whitening strips if you need a little more than a toothpaste is giving.
