This book is one of the best books I've read in a long time.

Based on a true story it offers hope and growth throughout 4 generations of one family. What may appear to be quite bleak and is passed on to the next generation, creates a strength that members of the next generation of family are able to grow from.

Nobody is perfect in this family but the story shows that no matter how bad things can become there is always hope for a better future.
