Good product but inconsistent

I have to admit that I have a long standing love-hate relationship with this product. I love them when they work, hate them when they don't, and unfortunately they have failed me in the past. I stopped buying them some 10 years ago but when Butterly and 3M offered this opportunity to try these ones out for free, I decided it might be time for a second chance. Since I had to post a review within seven days of receiving the products, I'll only discuss at this time the I stalk action process and final look. As with my other reviews however, I will post an update on 6 months on the blog and in this case, potentially even in a year.

We had a situation last year that ended up with us having to move. It was unarmed and stressful, and we have only started on the final touches of our new place recently. And obviously one of these touches are putting up art.

We don't have anything worth anything in the art world, but every piece we have is made by a friend and mean a lot to us. We used 3M strips some ten years ago to put them up but although we followed instructions to the letter, a few of our pieces fell. We also had damage from the strips when we removed them according to instructions. It could be that we were living in a country with much higher humidity levels at the time, so maybe the strips just don't work as well there. It's been ten years, maybe R&D has helped improve this product. And since we have friends who swear by these strips, we decided to give them another go.

Installation is such a breeze. I love that I don't have to worry about putting holes into the wall (and am hoping that the removal process will be less problematic this time around, too.) We use a level app on our phones; one of us holds the frame while the other holds the level above the frame. This helps us get the frame straight every time. We are caution so we add extra strips per artwork but that has to do with our past experience.

Good strong hook

This hook was easy to attach to the wall. It has been holding a 10 pound backpack for a week and still seems solidly fixed in place. Large hook allows for a large bag to be hung.

Super easy to mount!

I had the opportunity to try Command 15 lbs extra Heavyweight Wall Hooks. We needed an extra hook in our bathroom for hand towels and bathrobes. Those items aren't the heaviest, but I have tested out the hook with some larger items - so far, it's stayed in place! The hook was really easy to mount on the wall, with super simple instructions. When we're ready to place the hook somewhere else, I'll be able to remove it easily and remount it with fresh command strips. Which is awesome!

Easy to Apply and Strong Hold Hook

I have been needing a hook to hang my work bag, and this was the perfect product! Once again, no damaging drilling or nails into the wall, I was able to easily set up this product using the 3 damage free hanging strips, easily slide the hook on, and it can hold up to 15lbs!

Easy to install

Love these 3M hooks. They are super easy to install and just as easy to remove.
I love that these hooks don't leave any marks behind when you take them down. Gone are the days of patching holes!

Heavy Duty

This X-Large Hook is just so perfect to be at home.
All my hang bags were organize and hang on this 1 hook.
It can carry weight upto 9 Kg and so easy to stick any where without any damage to the wall.

Perfect for sports Equipment

In 3M I trust

Command hooks. You've all heard of them but have you used them for trusting them to hang small things on small hooks. We built a new home and after fixing all the holes from hooks, artwork, etc in our previous home, I didn't want to be putting a bunch of holes in the walls in our brand new home. Enter- command hooks. I used this bad boy for everything. Perfect for backpacks and purses. I think I'll put a bunch of these in the garage, too! Nothing nailed in. Holding strong for almost 2 years now!!

A hook that can hold weight

I love this hook. It can hold items up to 15 lbs, which is fantastic. I've struggled to find hooks that can hold my purses or bags. This one does it. I love that it doesn't require any drilling or nailing. I had hooks I've drilled in fall out before, so this is great.
