    Good product but inconsistent

I have to admit that I have a long standing love-hate relationship with this product. I love them when they work, hate them when they don't, and unfortunately they have failed me in the past. I stopped buying them some 10 years ago but when Butterly and 3M offered this opportunity to try these ones out for free, I decided it might be time for a second chance. Since I had to post a review within seven days of receiving the products, I'll only discuss at this time the I stalk action process and final look. As with my other reviews however, I will post an update on 6 months on the blog and in this case, potentially even in a year.

We had a situation last year that ended up with us having to move. It was unarmed and stressful, and we have only started on the final touches of our new place recently. And obviously one of these touches are putting up art.

We don't have anything worth anything in the art world, but every piece we have is made by a friend and mean a lot to us. We used 3M strips some ten years ago to put them up but although we followed instructions to the letter, a few of our pieces fell. We also had damage from the strips when we removed them according to instructions. It could be that we were living in a country with much higher humidity levels at the time, so maybe the strips just don't work as well there. It's been ten years, maybe R&D has helped improve this product. And since we have friends who swear by these strips, we decided to give them another go.

Installation is such a breeze. I love that I don't have to worry about putting holes into the wall (and am hoping that the removal process will be less problematic this time around, too.) We use a level app on our phones; one of us holds the frame while the other holds the level above the frame. This helps us get the frame straight every time. We are caution so we add extra strips per artwork but that has to do with our past experience.

Would I recommend this product? Not yet, but visit the blog and bookmark the review, then come back in six months to see what I have to say?

Falls off if there is a breeze

It is a great way to hand an item without nails or fuss. Unfortunately if it is near a door or anything else that is heavy traffic the item will fall off, a lot. Strong breeze from someone walking by quick, falls. Dog's tail hits it, down. Door slams shut near it, down. All the parts stay stuck to what they should, but the Velcro just releases. After 6 times a day I got a little sick of it. - Product received for free from 3M in exchange for an honest review.
