Just became a tangled mess

My daughter and I were so excited that we were given the opportunity to review this product for free. Well we recieved it, got it all set up even though the instructions were lacking and she made a cute bracelet. She tried several times to make another one but the strings kept getting jammed and were becoming a wasted mess. Tried to re thread it with new string and I gave it a try and it immediately jammed up again. So glad I didn't spend money on this. It was a no go for us. Maybe we just got a bad one out of the bunch. But from our experience I can't recommend this product to anyone.

Great product!

My daughter does not usually do too well with creating thread/knot bracelets. She made some amazing bracelets with this product. It helped keep the bracelet steady and eliminated the gapping that occurs from it twisting or the knots not being pulled tight enough on the kind of friendship bracelets I used to make. I love the variety of the thread included in the kit. The colors and quality of the bracelet are much better than the diy kind we have done. This would be a great gift for preteen girls!

It's great but it has some flaws

The KumiKreator is supposed to be one of the top toys of 2018 and the commercials had my 7yo hooked. As soon as she saw one she fell in love and asked on repeat if we could go get one. Well, we got one. She was so excited when we were taking it out of the box for the first time. We unboxed it together and went over the instructions together before we attempted to make a bracelet. It took her and I about 15 minutes together to get everything set up for the first bracelet. We got 1/4 of the way through, and it jammed. What do you do? KumiKreator’s YouTube channel said to completely undo what we set up for the first bracelet and then go through the ‘quick’ process of taking the spools out and putting them back in. We then re-set it all up and get 1/2 way through the second attempt of the first bracelet…and it jammed again. So now we have to completely re-do everything again. By the third failed attempt my 7yo is done. She’s disappointed and doesn’t even want to play with it anymore. She leaves the rooms, and I keep on trying to figure this machine out. I give up. I contact the company, and they send me a return shipping label so they can look at our bracelet maker. I was really impressed with the customer service overall. They kept in contact with me over email and then I received a phone call telling me that they were able to fix our bracelet maker and they will be sending it back to us with a Fashion Pack as well that will make up to 24 extra bracelets on top of the 10 that come with the original purchase. I went over all the issues on the phone with the customer representative, and they assured me all was well, and if I were to have any issues, please call, and they will fix everything right away. Well, the ‘fixed’ KumiKreator arrived in the mail with the replacement pack plus a completed bracelet for her. We took it out of the box, I set it up while she watched to cut down on time, and then she made her first bracelet, and IT WORKED right off the bat! My 7yo was beyond thrilled. We made a couple of bracelets with zero issues! So through all this, if you have a problem, please contact support before writing it off because when it works, it is actually pretty neat and very entertaining for the maker.

Easy Peasy Friendship Bracelets!

My daughter has been asking for a Kumi Creator ever since she saw it on TV, so when we were selected to receive a sample in exchange for our honest reviews, we were excited. For reference, my 9 year old daughter has been trying to make friendship bracelets the "old fashioned way" like I did growing up. Unfortunately she just can't do it despite trying various kits and ways to make them. Kumi creator takes all the guesswork out of making cute friendship bracelets.
Once you load the colors you want in your bracelet into the Kumi Creator, you weave them together with the push of a button. These aren't your average friendship bracelets- you, your child, and the recipient of these bracelets will be wowed by the detail and the quality of the bracelets. With this kit, you can make about 10 bracelets, and the best part, you don't have to worry about making knots that are too big or too small! I would definitely buy this again and I'm hoping they have refills or we can somehow use other thread to create more bracelets.

Fun mommy/daughter time

I got this for my daughter who is 12. We made the first 2 bracelets together and it was a fun experience. This is a great product to use alone, with friends, or for mommy/daughter time. The kit has enough materials to make 10 or more bracelets in all different styles. My daughter followed a few styles that were in the box and some she did on her own. I would definitely buy this as a gift and recommend it to others.

Fun game

I received the kumikreator friendship bracelet maker free to review. My sister was very excited to try it. I think it's so amazing because it comes with many string colors to make many colors combination and it can be used as a group activity to entertain many children because they will all want a bracelet and are going to be curious of how they can be made. I really like it because it's appropriate for children and can help develop friendship and sharing it's even in the name!!

Lots of fun!

I received the KumiKreator Bracelet Maker free for review. As soon as it arrived, my daughter and granddaughter were so excited to get it opened up and jump right in! They love it. They have made so many bracelets and of all color combinations. They made me one too. It has been so much fun and has definitely kept them busy. They are enjoying showing off their creativity. Fun family activity

My daughter and my niece had the best time making bracelets. The kit has enough materials to make several bracelets in all different styles. They spend several hours just designing the styles they wanted to make for themselves as well as their friends. They were so proud of the results they came out with. They had no problems understanding the directions or operating the kit. I would love to purchase more kits like this in the future for my daughter to craft with.

Great Gift for Crafty Kids!

The Friendship Bracelet Maker is a great gift for crafty kids! I invited my kids, along with a few others, to try their hand at making friendship bracelets. Each child enjoyed the time they spent creating their one-of-a-kind bracelets and had fun giving them to one another afterwards!

Girl heaven

My girls really enjoy making brackets with this. They always pull it out when friends come over and demonstrate it and then together make matching bracelets. It’s really cute.
There was a learning curve that I needed to meet. I had to watch the video on how to use it and then after 2-3 times me and my oldest daughters are pro at this. They have already expressed their desire to take it to their cousins house for holidays to make braceets with their cousins. They use to love making them by hand but they love being able to demonstrate and use the machine and show its “coolness”.
