Awesome better-for-you treat

First of all, this is NOT supposed to and will NEVER taste like your favourite Häagen-Dazs, so don't even compare this to the "real" ice cream made of pure, heavy, thick cream.
Now, for a "healthy" treat, this fits the bill for me. I crave ice cream time to time and I have tried chapman's frozen yogurt, halo top, breyer's etc, and to be honest with you, I like this Coolwhey the best. I wasn't crazy about the cookies and cream but the caramel one was really great.
Nutritional content was slightly better with these products vs other lower calorie options from different brands. These are cheaper than halo top when on sale, so I will probably stick with these vs other ones.
If you are looking for a "better" ice cream options (and are willing to comprise the taste a little), by all mean go ahead and give it a try!

Great ice cream alternative

This stuff is a great ice cream alternative - packed with protein but still tastes great! I have tried all the flavours and the coconut is my favourite! Only downfall is the price, but it is comparable to other protein desserts.

Coolwhey protein icecream is Canada's better tasting Halo Top

I was so happy to finally see a protein ice cream in Canada.. after years of searching for Halo Top and other American brands, finally found Cool Whey at Metro in Ontario. Not only one, but many. 3 flavors: chocolate chip, salted caramel, and vanilla. My favourite by far is salted caramel. About 600 calories for the entire thing with a whopping 40 grams of protein. My fave night cap. The vanilla flavour is 100 calories less. Only downside is it's expensive price: $7.99 per pint. Definately worth it though.
