Didn't like it. It's greasy, it smelled weird and left my skin shiny and sticky.

I expected more. When you live in a city of high extremes like Montreal, Canada, you want a sunscreen that is not only effective but also shields you from sweat. I was told that the waterproof feature tells you whether or not it is sweat proof. In this case, it is a big fail. It made me feel sticky, dirty, and more moist than I would have been if I didn't put any sunscreen on.

I bought this for ease of use. However, I found that I was still having to rub it in a bit to get an even application. It works well for one application. After that it builds upon the last layer and you are left feeling grimy and if you rub your skin at all it balls up. The smell is not pleasant so you need to apply it outside. Applying it in the bathroom with the fan on still makes me choke. I would not recommend it.

My husband loves the spray type of sunscreens and we buy this one quite regularly for sports and the beach. I like the ease of use for the spray and I haven't had any issues with coverage or burning personally, but my husband has found the application a bit inconsistent. Sometimes there's a streak of red on his leg or back where we apparently missed an area. It's really easy to miss with a spray, and less so with a lotion since you're physically rubbing it in.

I also find the cost is a lot higher... the sprays run out a lot more quickly than the cream/lotion style, even though I think we're getting less coverage with the spray. We end up using up a bottle every 4 days with this aerosol spray, but get a month of use with the lotion style.

    Pros: convenience, no sticky/goopy application
Cons: Runs out a lot more quickly, easier to miss areas with a spray, cost

I've been using this product for a couple years now and love it. The two main things I love is that it's simple to use and it's effective in blocking the sun. I still think that sunscreen cream is more effective overall, but it's nice not to end up rubbing little bits of sand all over your body when reapplying at the beach. It does leave my skin shinny and if you apply too much a bit sticky, but when you're in and out of the water it just can't be beat. Great product and definitely something I buy every summer.

I have been using this sunscreen spray for touch-ups to my sunscreen throughout the day when I am out in the sun. It is especially handy when you’re at the beach because you don’t need to get your hands all sticky with reapplying sunscreen. The bottle is also good because the spray top has a lock so it won’t spray all over the inside of your bag.

The bottle says it is waterproof and “ultra sweatproof”. I agree that it is extremely resistant to sweat, because even when you’re sitting in the sun all day, you don’t get the feeling that your sunscreen is seeping out of your pores.

My only minor complains are that it is smelly and kind of sticky. It is smelly only in the sense that it has that traditional sunscreen scent that everyone associates with summer, and it is very strong. Plus the scent does not fade, so I am not impressed with that. It is only slightly sticky to the touch (on your skin) but in a bug spray kind of way, not a too much greasy lotion kind of way. Overall I think this is a decent sunscreen product and a good value.

I have just discovered Coppertone Clear Sunscreen Oil Free Continuous Spray SPF 50 and it is WAY better than this. My problems with this one (that its sticky and smelly) are resolved with the oil free version, AND it has a higher SPF. I don't think this one is bad, but I would recomment purchasing the oil free version over this one.

I was headed to New Mexico at the end of June one year and needed a suncreen that was easily appliable and wouldn't wear off. I have incredibly pale skin and burn very easily. I found Coppertone's sport pray and was very happy with it. In the two weeks I was in the NM I didn't burn once. The spray in very fine and doesn't require any rubbing. I also managed to keep my scalp from burning by spraying the part of my hair.
