I have super fair and sensitive skin and was so excited to be chosen for this campaign - normally coppertone is one of my fave brands but I'm a bit confused why they are marketing this as JUST face, if it's for sensitive skin I would think it would be better to market is across the board! While I loved the products non-greasy formula and protection, I didn't love the price tag. I'll definitely use what I have, but if I am going to spend that much on a sunscreen it needs to be a good size and usable on the whole body (and while this one is.. the smaller tube wouldn't last long!)
The lotion was easy to apply and the container worked well for the product. I used this on my little grandson. There was no noticeable scent to the lotion which I preferred. It applied evenly and worked for the little guy.
I really like that this is an SPF 50 sunscreen that doesn't feel greasy. However, the product is thicker than I would like and took me a lot of effort to apply, even when only using a small amount. I do not feel like the sunscreen absorbs into my skin and it makes me look even whiter than usual. On the upside, no sunburn, freckles, or skin reactions of any kind.

I was skeptical when I first received this product because most drugstore-brand facial sunscreens that I've purchased have always left my skin greasy and oily, prone to breakouts. I was surprised that this wasn't the case with Coppertone. It sat nicely atop my moisturizer and worked well to build my makeup over for the day. I didn't feel as if it suffocated my face, nor did it merely act as a barrier. My skin still felt smooth and protected. While I do have one or two I prefer that have slightly better textures, in a pinch I'd totally keep this one handy.
This worked well for a drug store brand of sunscreen. I often break out using sunscreen on my face and did not while using Coppertone Sensitive. It also did not leave my skin feeling greasy and looked ok under makeup unlike some that are too white or do not absorb well.
I had no issues using it either, my skin is semi-sensitive, but sunscreens tend to be the worst for sensitivity for me so definitely an added bonus as I hate trying new ones only to deal with rashes or breakouts for a week or more afterwards.
Disclosure: I received this product from ChickAdvisor for testing purposes
I was so excited when I found out I got to test and review this product because we had a vacation planned to Mexico. Unfortunately the product didn't arrive before we left so that sucked. But I did get to test it out last weekend at the river. I went tubing with my family. I like the packaging, the squeeze tube. I don't like when sunscreen is in the bottles because it runs out, especially if it gets hot. I loved that it was 50SPF because I am a pale person lol. I'm also happy that it doesn't smell like coconut because I hate coconut, but it does have kind of a weird smell. I also really like that it is sensitive, free of dyes, oils and fragrances. I really enjoyed this sunscreen and I would recommend it and I will be using it again in the near future :)
I received this product to try for free.
I tend to get breakouts after using sunscreen a few days in a row.
I am pleased to report that after using the sensitive skin SPF for a few days I had no breakouts.
It didn't feel greasy, so my skin didn't look oily after applying it which is great.
It rubs right into the skin, and does not have a strong odour like most sunscreens I've used.
This is the best sunscreen I've used to date.
I found that the sunscreen went on a little thick and felt a little oily on my face at first. But after a few minutes the oiliness seems to have gone away. I swept some powder foundation on and it seemed to work well with the sunscreen. I like how it didn't cause my skin to break out and was easy to work into my skin. Downside is it feels quite heavy while applying it.
I really liked this sunscreen. It does not bother my sensitive skin at all and does not leave that gross, greasy feeling that is the side effect of too many sunscreens out there. As long as you are sure to rub the sunscreen in well, it goes on great under makeup. Overall, I would probably purchase this in the future if it was on sale.
I received the Coppertone Sunscreen Lotion Sensitive Skin Faces SPF 50 for free from Chick Advisor for the purpose of reviewing the product. I must say I was pretty excited about the prospects of a sunscreen for sensitive skin that was to be used on my face. I have always had an issue in the past with sunscreens as I have very sensitive skin. The texture was lighter than most face sunscreens, which is a good thing. I didn't feel like I had a big gloppy mess on my face. It worked well to keep my skin protected, even when I started to melt in the sun. Added bonus, no post sunscreen breakout. I did still find this was definitely a go to the beach, hang by the pool or play sports sunscreen. It wasn't something that felt like it could go under my makeup, despite it being lighter then most sunscreens. This is a great sunscreen for someone with sensitive skin that wants to be outdoors enjoying the sun and not get burned. I would recommend this to others.
