Coppertone Sunscreen Lotion Sensitive Skin Faces SPF 50;
it worked better than other sunscreens yes
did prevent less burns
but i still think sensitive skin nothing really helps too much other than a hat and protective shade coverage
this sunscreen did help slightly more than other sunscreens that are not catered for sensitive skin
i appreciaited that i did not notice any breaks outs, and less of a burn is great
but still face
I received this product as part of the review club. This product really wasn't much different than any other sunscreen. I was hoping it would be light and not greasy but it basically just felt like any other sunscreen on my face. I don't spend a ton of time outdoors so most days I will probably stick with my regular moisturizer with spf and save the rest of this sample for days when I'm going to be out in the sun for an extended period of time.
I received the Coppertone sunscreen Lotion for Sensitive Skin / Faces and was excited to try it. My son is playing spring /summer flag football and we are all on the field all weekend long.
I was disappointed on how thick it was for my face. For a child I can see it but an adult - I had a hard time blending it in then it felt very heavy and shiny. I was hoping for a lighter feel and less shin.
My daughter who works outdoors also tried it and found it didn't last any longer before she had to reapply - then the regular sunscreen (spf 35 sport) that she uses and she also felt she had to cake on makeup as it was so shiny.
I liked the no smell and I did not break out after using either. It just was not for our family.
I was happy that this product is for sensitive skin and had no scent, but I found it to be too thick and didn't absorb very well. Because of that I would not purchase this product.
I received this product for free from Chick Advisor. Used it twice, and both times it caused my skin to break out. Not too bad, some little bumps on my cheek and they went away after 1-2 days, but that's enough to make me not want to use it again. I also find that it doesn't absorb to my skin very quickly, I really need to rub it to make my skin not look white when using it. I'm not a fan.
* I received this product for free as a Chick Advisior. I have used Coppertone spray sunscreen in the past but never this specific one.*
The product was late in shipping to review and came shipped in a brown envelope (love getting my pretty pink boxes normally). It also had no instructions as other products have before.
I used the product for 1-2 weeks during the day when outside/doing errands and found it had the same effect as other sunscreens I had used. The feel and smell was consistent with other brands I have used. I am not sure if I would purchase a face specific sunscreen or just end up using a sunscreen for both my body & face.
The Coppertone brand I have been happy with but when it comes down to price & a sale, I would choose whichever brand had a good name behind it, a high SPF and would not likely buy 2 separate bottles (face & body).
I try the Coppertone Sunscreen Lotion Sensitive Skin Faces SPF 50 and personally I was not impress by the product. I would recommand it but not for me
I did not enjoy this sunscreen as much as I thought I would. As far as the effectiveness, it did work for sun protection and it did live up to the claims of not causing acne breakouts or skin irritation. I used this on my face, neck and chest, which are all acne prone and I did not have any reactions or breakouts after. The reason I did not like this sunscreen is because the lotion is way too thick. When I applied this it left a thick white cast on my skin that took forever to rub in so I didn't look as white as a ghost. I have used other brands of sensitive skin sunscreen and they were a lot lighter and absorbed right away without any white left over. I used an appropriate amount and on different areas but had the same result. For that reason, I would not purchase this product again. I may recommend it to someone who is having issues with sensitive skin, but I would warn them about the thickness of the lotion.
Forgot to mention that I received this free sample from Chick Advisor!
Conflicted about this product.
I've been trying this product in the evenings only as I spend them outside walking & gardening and my face & neck were starting to burn (not a good idea - I know), so this product came just in time for me to try. I must say it is very effective at keeping the sun from burning my skin and I like that it did not cause my skin to breakout like most other sunscreens. However, it goes on pretty thick and does not spread easily. Worst of all is that it leaves a whiteish appearance on my face! so, I will use it when I'm out in the sun only - I would not recommend it under makeup or as a face cream ....
I did not enjoy this sunscreen at all. It made my skin chalky looking and feeling after I put it on. I had a white cast on my skin. It felt heavy when I was rubbing it in. I prefer a suncreen that is easy to rub in. It didn't smell good either.
