Rooibos is made from the fine needles of a South African bush. In natural form the needles are green, but when fermented they turn red. Rooibos (the South African word for Red Bush) is extremely rich in anti-oxidants and flavenoids that boost the immune system and protect the body from premature aging and disease.

Rooibos is also known to gently relieve nervous tension, colic, insomnia, heartburn, nausea and has proven to be effective in the treatment of skin irritations such as eczema and psoriasis.
