Overpriced.

I received this activated charcoal mask in one of my monthly beauty subscription boxes. I decided to give it a try since I'm a huge fan of skin care products, it designed to draw out pore-clogging dirt, oil and daily impurities, and for the price range of this product, it should be life changing right?. Once I cleansed my face & started to apply the mask, I couldn't help but notice the strong scent of this product. I'm not quiet sure what it is, it's not perfume, but it has a strong smell. Once the mask was on I had a minute or so of a burning sensation on my face, that seemed to subside as the mask dried. Upon washing the mask off my face my skin had turned a rosy red like as if there was some irritation from the mask. I didn't notice any mind blowing, life changing results from the Cosmedix detox mask that my typical mask go-to (which is a fraction of the price) doesn't already do. For me I find this mask was okay, nothing overly amazing or life changing, definitely over priced - you're paying for the name.
