Not for very dry skin

I bought this thinking that the snail mucin would help to effectively hydrate and nourish my dehydrated skin, but unfortunately it did not work well. It dries down very quickly and does not like a sticky residue but it does not leave my skin feeling soft and hydrated.

A light weight dream that leaves your skin feeling soft.

I received this sample with purchase. I am not sure of the log term affects of this cream, but I had the opportunity to try this once. My initial thoughts are: I really like it. It's light weight and goes wellness under anything else you may use on your skin. It leaves your skin feeling soft without adding oil. I am interested in seeing long term use of this product and the sample has caught my interests that i will purchase it. If it does what it says it is supposed (naturally regenerating the skin), then it isn't a bad price.

COSRX Snail Cream

This cream is probably one of my top 5 favourite skincare product of all time. It is the perfect everyday moisturizer for my oily skin, as it isn't too thick or too heavy. The product contains 92% snail mucin (snail secretion filtrate), hence the 92 in the name.

I've been using this snail mucin cream before sunscreen in my morning routine and after my Vitamin C serum in my evening routine. Between using this and the COSRX snail mucin essence, I have felt a significant improvement in my skin's texture. My skin has gotten noticeably softer and my acne scars have slightly lightened. Although it is a fairly thick cream, it doesn't feel heavy and doesn't make my skin oily at all. I have oily skin and this cream works great for me as a moisturizer but I've heard that if you have dry skin, than you might need to use another moisturizer to supplement this cream.

The cream is slightly sticky because of the snail mucin but not sticky in an uncomfortable, icky way. It applies smoothly onto the skin and absorbs fairly quickly. After about 5 minutes, there won't be any residue left on your skin.
