THE REAL SCOOP

This is a "bathroom tissue" (aka toilet paper) that is marketed as a premium brand and while it does deliver in terms of softness and comfort, it falls just short my usual brand (Charmin 3-ply) in terms of effectiveness. I was duly impressed with how thick and soft the product is, especially considering it is only 2-ply instead of 3-ply. The product was definitely soft and delivers on absorbency - if comparing apples to apples, it blows all other 2-ply products out of the water.

BOTTOM LINE

This is a quality, soft and absorbent product that does deliver on what they advertise. The price is a bit higher than typical 2-ply products but it is in line with other 'premium' toilet paper price points. I would buy this product again, especially if it were on sale.

My family was very impressed with the new Cottonelle Ultra! We generally use more "premium" brands, because
good quality tissue is important to me, so we appreciate the opportunity to try the new Cottonelle.

Overall, everyone in the family really liked it. My 14 year old son even made a point of telling me it was great. (At the time he was using it to blow his nose!) I found it a little rough compared to facial tissue, but certainly a very effective toilet tissue. We liked the thickness, found it generally soft enough, although we have used softer products, and I appreciate that it is strong and mostly "dust free". Fit on the holder was good as well, so easy to use. We did notice that it didn't tear easily at the perforations. In fact I thought at first that perhaps there were no perforations, but this is a very minor issue which would not keep me from buying this brand. I wasn't able to find this tissue in my retailer at a price I was comfortable paying, however. I would definitely consider it among my choices, but buying would depend on the price when compared to other available "premium" or better quality brands. I wouldn't pay more for Cottonelle than my other usual tissues, but I would use it and recommend it when the price is right!

I was impressed by Cottonelle Ultra Bathroom Tissue. Despite my initial concern that it would not fit in the toilet paper holder being a larger roll, it turns out it fit well. Was also concerned that the thicker sheets might get clogged but no, everything was fine. The toilet paper was soft but durable and unlike many brands of TP, there was not much dusty fluff, if any, coming off it. Definitely a nice improvement. Would recommend and would buy again.

I was not immediately impressed by this product. I was a bit worried that the large roll wouldn't fit in my toilet paper holder, but that was not a problem once I set it up.

I do have to say, the Cottonelle did its job - both myself and my fiance had no issues with that. However, we both found it to be rougher than expected. I have used other brands that are just as effective, with more softness. I did find that it seemed the weaving pattern lead to tearing, but the paper was quite durable, and there wasn't a lot of dust and fluff flying around.

Overall, I was pleased but not overly impressed. I likely won't purchase the Cottonelle Ultra, but was very appreciative for the opportunity to try!

My hubby commented as soon as he tried it...he's not a picky person...toilet paper just has to be 2ply and do a good job...well what do you know...this is way better than anything we've ever used currently and in the past...

Our overall experience was great...it was soft and durable...it did a great job...the only thing I was worried about was if the kids (age 2 & 3) would clog the toilet because it was thick...but nope it didn't happen...

I will definitely purchase this product..my hubby will not want anything else...plus I liked the product as it was great...my friends have also commented when they used our washroom...so I will mention it whenever it comes up in future conversation...

I received Cottonelle as part of the review club (thank you Chickadvisor). I will admit that I am a "buy whatever is on sale" toilet paper shopper, so I wasn't expecting this to be any worse or any better than other brands. In a sense I was right. The paper itself has a different weave (horizontal lines) which I found made it tear more, but was effective (how does someone write about this nicely?!) when wiping. I used about the same amount as other brands, but somehow the roll shrunk faster (we always get double rolls). I will probably buy it again but not deliberately.

I never thought I'd get the experience of reviewing toilet paper but I was excited to try it cause face we all use the stuff so it would be a very honest review since I have years of experience. ha ha

I'm the kinda person whom likes soft toilet paper so this was right up my alley so to speak. As soon as I received the package I popped the roll on the holder and waited for nature to call.

What do you know she called and she left me a long message. So I got the ultimate test the first time using it(yeah there will be a lot of potty humor in this review). Bare with me will ya!

So I took the swipe and noticed how soft and luxurious this toilet paper was, it was like wiping with a fine piece of linen it was that soft. I was impressed and so was the rest of me. There was no chafing going on with this stuff. or little pieces of TP fluff scattered about. I also found it didn't clog up my toilet (which most 2ply thicker brand toilet paper does..cha cha cha is all I will say about that).

I think I'll be making the switch to Cottonelle Ultra Bathroom Tissue its too royal to pass up it feels divine on the behind! (told ya I'd make jokes). I definitely will recommend the toilet paper however difficult to come up with the topic of booty paper but I will do it as I think everyone's tush needs to feel the cottony softness Cottonelle(ya I remember the song don't act like you didn't have it playing in your head).

Before trying this toilet paper as part of the review club, I would likely not have tried it as I have my usual brand for toilet paper. However, after trying Cottonelle Ultra, I'm sold on it! It's got the perfect blend of softness and durability so you know its doing its job!

I definitely would consider buying it as my usual brand for toilet paper and actually bought some this week as it was on sale. I would highly recommend Cottonelle Ultra to others.

My overall experience with this product : the toilet paper was quite soft, for 2 ply paper. Sometimes I will even use 3 ply so comparatively, Cottenelle was quite good.

I'm not particularly brand-loyal when it comes to toilet paper but I do prefer softer paper, so I would consider making Cottonelle Ultra my usual brand of bathroom tissue. i would say that the closest competitor is Chamin 3 ply, which is still slightly superior.

I would you buy this product again. I don't usually buy no-name or really cheap paper because I do value quality. But I'll also check what's on sale between the products I'm willing to consider.

Thank you, Product Review Club, for my sample of Cottonelle Ultra Bathroom Tissue! This toilet paper is soft, strong, thick, and is very absorbent. On the plus side, you can probably use a little less than with your usual brand. However, a double roll has only 176 squares, and this product is fairly expensive. Would I purchase it myself? Only if it were on sale AND I had a decent coupon.

My favorite toilet paper remains Charmin Ultra Strong, but in my opinion, it is over-priced as well.

As much as these high-end bathroom tissues are luxurious, environmental concerns are making me seriously consider switching to recycled products. After all, will our butts really care?
