Thank you, Product Review Club, for selecting me to test this bathroom tissue. I almost always buy the same brand of bathroom tissue and don't experiment too often. One nasty allergic reaction experience has made me rather cautious. After testing Cottenelle, I will add this brand to my safe list.

As some others noted, it is an extremely thick tissue and I found it a bit too thick for my own preference. I liked the softness and strength. I really liked how the roll filled the tissue holder and definitely noticed that I didn't have to replace the roll as often as I do with my usual brand.

One other thing that irritated me is that the rolls aren't perforated into squares, which makes it difficult for small children (and some adults!) to be aware of just how much tissue they are using. It also doesn't tear neatly across, which made the tissue look messy to me.

At regular price, this tissue is double the price of my usual brand on sale. However, if Cottenelle goes on sale or I find coupons, I will definitely pick it up.

I got my package of Cottonelle the other day, but being the prudent consumer, I had to of course wait until I needed to replace a roll in my bathroom before opening the package!

My first impression of Cottonelle Ultra was that it wasn't as soft as Charmin; it had more texture to it though, which can be a good thing in bathroom tissue. I have used nothing but Charmin for several years now, so I was very interested in trying the competition without having to spend money at risk of being disappointed with the product. Cottonelle Ultra is definitely a satisfactory alternate to Charmin, and as I am quite motivated by sales and bargains (as long as I still receive the quality I hold as standard), I would definitely reach for it if it were on sale! Congratulations Cottonelle, in swaying this diehard Charmin fan into using something different. I am very grateful to have been provided the opportunity to compare, and would certainly recommend Cottonelle Ultra to others.

You don't need to use as much paper as other toilet papers. My family loves it too. I will recommend it to family and friends. I will purchase Cottenelle Ultra in the future!

Well I received this for part of the Product review, and I must say that I was impressed. It truly was very soft, thick, and comfortable. It's nice to have nice bathroom tissue in the house, but unfortunately, the kids tend to use way too much of it, and as this is a little bit on the pricey side, I would definitely have to wait for it to be on sale before picking it up. It would definitely be something that I would buy again. It was very comfortable to use, and not harsh at all.

I received this TP as part of the review club. The toilet paper is so soft and super strong. You definitly do not need to use much of it. It is great, I just worry that the kids (aka toilet paper hogs) would use too much and because it is so thick it would clog the toilet. This TP will be staying in my bathroom only :)

this toilet paper is STRONG. I can't believe how soft it is. When i opened the package i noticed it was so soft, like a pillow. It's strong and doesn't tear. you don't need to use much. Just a few sheets does the job. I would even use this on my nose. that's how soft it is.

I am a regular user of Royale bathroom tissues, and although I am very happy with it, the Cottonelle Ultra is definitely a step up. Because it is so thick and absorbent, one needs to use less to do the same job, so it is a plus if one is concerned about the amount of waste that gets generated. I am currently suffering from hay fever and the Cottonelle has been doing double duty as a Kleenex. It is so soft and does not irritate my nose. What is even better is that it is a STRONG tissue. I hate it when you are wiping your nose and the tissue rips. This hasn't happened at all with this product. Although it is a bit more expensive than other brands, taking into consideration that you use less of it every time, it is a fantastic value!

This product is one of the softest, most absorbent toilet papers out there. Granted, the texture is a bit paper-like to the touch, but when it is used on the area that it's supposed to be used on, it is not harsh feeling at all. I like that it is very absorbent, so I only need to use two square vs. my usual four squares with my regular toilet paper. The roll is a bit "chubby", but it fits into the toilet paper holder with no problem. Overall, I do recommend this product for its quality. Price wise, it's a bit on the premium side, but it's definitely a great buy if it goes on sale, or if there are coupons available for it.

I have no idea how much they cost but REGULAR TP is getting so expensive I think I just don't get the point of using 3 plys...More expensive??

While this is great quality TP, I am always afraid that it'll plug the toilet since it so thick that It's as though you're using paper towel. I do like Cashmere's regular toilet paper though. I would not change from regular TP to this one because of these reasons and because it's just not "green".
Thinking about it: why the heck would anybody need 3 ply TP, really?

I might recommend this to some of my relatives that I know love another brand name 3 ply TP.

I was part of the test market for this product. When the package came, I started using it right away and I have never looked back. This product is strong and absorbant and not at all expensive considering the quality. You don't need as much and in our house this means alot. So I have made the switch to this brand. Thanks for letting me try it!!!!
