As soon as I received my sample I switched all of the tissue in our bathrooms to install the new stuff. The most critical in our house is probably my husband. I didn't mind it, my daughter loved it and my husband didn't like it. I found it actually a little thick feeling for my liking. It has an almost paper towel like feel to it when you first touch it. It does work well and you do have to use less of it than a regular tissue but not sure that I would buy on a regular basis. I have actually purchased the Costco brand tissue for a very long time and it has always proven to be a good product. Thank you for the opportunity to try it!

I can't say much about the price, I was sent it for review. What I can tell you about is the tissue. Up until now, I've never really considered toilet paper - it's one of those things you have to have, but don't put much thought into.

It's durable and very absorbent. It's really thick and super soft. Because I'm used to using cheap thin bathroom tissue, I found myself using more than I needed every time. A little really goes a long way.

Cottenelle ultra is a great bathroom tissue. it is strong and absorbant, but sort of soft! however one of the other brands i use is softer and just as strong as cottenelle ultra, so i do think they could have made it softer and still be as effective. But overall i thought it was a great quality bathroom tissue and i do recomend it.

I have never to my knowledge used Cottonelle so this was a first for me. I was worried that the large roll wouldn't fit in my toilet paper holder, but that was not a problem. When I touched it, it felt a bit strange, soft but paperlike. When I used it, it was soft but strong and it did not rip. I think I may be switching!

THE REAL SCOOP

This is a "bathroom tissue" (aka toilet paper) that is marketed as a premium brand and while it does deliver in terms of softness and comfort, it falls just short my usual brand (Charmin 3-ply) in terms of effectiveness. I was duly impressed with how thick and soft the product is, especially considering it is only 2-ply instead of 3-ply. The product was definitely soft and delivers on absorbency - if comparing apples to apples, it blows all other 2-ply products out of the water.

BOTTOM LINE

This is a quality, soft and absorbent product that does deliver on what they advertise. The price is a bit higher than typical 2-ply products but it is in line with other 'premium' toilet paper price points. I would buy this product again, especially if it were on sale.

My family was very impressed with the new Cottonelle Ultra! We generally use more "premium" brands, because
good quality tissue is important to me, so we appreciate the opportunity to try the new Cottonelle.

Overall, everyone in the family really liked it. My 14 year old son even made a point of telling me it was great. (At the time he was using it to blow his nose!) I found it a little rough compared to facial tissue, but certainly a very effective toilet tissue. We liked the thickness, found it generally soft enough, although we have used softer products, and I appreciate that it is strong and mostly "dust free". Fit on the holder was good as well, so easy to use. We did notice that it didn't tear easily at the perforations. In fact I thought at first that perhaps there were no perforations, but this is a very minor issue which would not keep me from buying this brand. I wasn't able to find this tissue in my retailer at a price I was comfortable paying, however. I would definitely consider it among my choices, but buying would depend on the price when compared to other available "premium" or better quality brands. I wouldn't pay more for Cottonelle than my other usual tissues, but I would use it and recommend it when the price is right!

This isnt bad toilet paper but it is not high end quality by any means, its average. it tears apart quite easily and there are MANY softer toilet paper on the market that dont put so much emphasis on 'softness' as cottonelle does so i was surprised with this one did not meet expectations. this is decent TP but dont except high end quality. look for Charmin products!

This bathroom tissue is actually quite good. It is soft,although there are others that are about the same on the market. My only concern with it is being actually too thick as i have 2 kids who usually use way more tissue than is needed,and that coupled with the thickness is probably going to sway me not to purchase it. It worked well, soft, the large rolls still fit on the holders no problem and I think the price is average for this more premium product. I think most people would be pleased with this product, with the exception of parents of small kids.

My family and I loved this bathroom tissue! It's so soft and so strong plus the double rolls last and last. I would definitely repurchase this product going forward and would certainly recommend this bathroom tissue to friends/family.

I was impressed by Cottonelle Ultra Bathroom Tissue. Despite my initial concern that it would not fit in the toilet paper holder being a larger roll, it turns out it fit well. Was also concerned that the thicker sheets might get clogged but no, everything was fine. The toilet paper was soft but durable and unlike many brands of TP, there was not much dusty fluff, if any, coming off it. Definitely a nice improvement. Would recommend and would buy again.
