Good and bad compared to my usual brand
For reference, I usually use Kirkland brand so that would be my comparison here. When it comes to this Toilet Paper, it has both goods and bads, so it really depends on what you're looking for in a TP.
Better:
- Thick. I did expect something called 'comfortcare' to be a lot more plush, but it definitely beats Kirkland out in terms of thickness. It's noticeably more plush and doesn't suffer from any 'poke-through'.
- No toilet paper fluff.
- Soft. Due to the plushness and the wavy pattern it really does feel a lot softer on the delicate regions. I did find it a bit scratchy on the nose though, so best not to be used as tissue. Not a dealbreaker for me as I buy tissues separate, but sometimes I grab a bit of TP if I'm in the bathroom when I need to blow my nose!
Worse:
- Roll size and amount of sheets. I found this to be very small. The Kirkland rolls are almost comically big, but these seem very small to me, both in terms of the actual size of the roll and the amount of sheets you get on them. Considering these are 'double rolls' I wonder how small the normal one is...
- Sheet size. Again, the sheet size is quite small and that means you use a little more if you're used to a bigger size.
The problem is that if you like thick, luxurious rolls this will not be enough for you, but if usually use a thinner paper, this might be nice for you. I'm not sure I'd buy again, I'm pretty happy with my current toilet paper, but I will 100% say it was thicker and more comfortable than that. For me, value is king though and I feel it needs a bigger roll.
