I would buy this product again!
I recently bought Country Harvest Bakes (Apple and cinnamon) on sale, I've been wanting to try them for a while. I am definitely glad I bought them, the apple cinnamon flavour is really delicious. I enjoyed mine plain and also toasted with a bit of peanut butter, really tasty both ways! I will buy this product again and look forward to trying a different flavour!
Delicious Chewy Bread With Great Flavours To Choose From
I am a big fan of these Harvest Bakes breads. I've tried the Apple Cinnamon and Wild Blueberry flavours, both of which are wholesome and delicious. The Blueberry flavour has flax seed and rolled outs incorporated into the bread and the Apple Cinnamon has raisins. The bread is moist and chewy. They are perfect for on-the-go, toasting, or for spreading with peanut butter or Nutella. I often see these at Loblaws at a price of two for $5.
Must try
I purchased the Harvest Bakes Canadian Wild Blueberry with Flax Seeds & Rolled Oats and they are amazing!
I was shopping and walked by the display and it is the smell of the blueberries that made me stop and look! I knew I had to try it!
They come in a pack of 4 and you have 3 different flavors to choose from. I do wish they came in a pack of 6 for the price they are asking for... (I paid $2.50 at Giant Tiger).
I had mine toasted with butter. Yum!
Great Lunch or Snack Idea
I absolutely love taking these for lunch. The apple flavor is my absolutely favorite, but they are all amazing! I tend to just eat these without anything on them, either toasted or not. They taste like a whole wheat bread with grains throughout, which add a great crunchy texture. I also love the sweetness added by the fruit pieces that come with the blueberry and apple varieties. These are great if you can find them on sale.
I had my eye on these new flat breads, and purchased the wild blueberry with flax seeds and rolled oats (210 cals) and the apple & cinnamon with raisins (190 cals). They are tasty warm, or toasted, with peanut butter inside or guava jam. I'd only purchase them on sale or with coupons, as the regular price of $3.50 for 4 is too high.
I found the Super Seedy Quinoa flavour on sale and decided to give it a try. The flavour is quite nice, as is the texture both right out of the bag or toasted. The one big issue I have is they are IMPOSSIBLE to cut in half. I find this problem with a lot of flat breads on the market. You end up having to use 2 of them to make a sandwich which defeats the purpose of a lower calorie sandwich. I would buy them again but probably only when they're on sale. Nice try Country Harvest, perhaps work on the pre-slicing.
I tried the new Apple and Cinnamon flavour of Country Harvest Bakes and it was delicious. I had it toasted for breakfast, better than pop tarts and frozen pastries. I plan on buying regularly.
I found the flavour of theses quite bland. Tried them just out of the bag, not great. Toasted with butter, butter just slid off. Had to slice through the middle which was difficult then toast with butter, then they were not too bad.
I have tried two flavors: Apple and Super Seeds, Both are good. I prefer to use Super Seeds for sandwiches, and just toast the Apple flavour and eat it as a quick snack. I would experiment them a bit more for more comment.
