Nice to have on hand for backup

I generally make my own earwires in order to make the whole piece cohesive. However, I like to keep a few of these on hand, in case I need a set. They come in handy at art sales, when someone comes up with the question "Can you fix this?" If it's not my work, I generally don't but if they just need replacement wires, I will sell them a set of these. They are a smaller gauge than what I make as well, so I do keep them on hand for clients with very small holes. They are solid sterling, so they're a good price but I do find they haven't been tempered enough and so I put them through the tumbler before use, just to harden them up.
